We thought at least $100k just on engine rebuild, anyone who’s done one could chip in by all means .

 

Agree it's horrible and it could be a lot worse underneath too. It hasn't been started for 25 years - the heads will be welded to the block with corrosion.

I don't you'd get this restored for less than $300K. Lot's of extremely rare parts need to be found, seats, exhaust system, TRX wheels, etc, etc.

Meanwhile I bet $450K would buy FerrariFixer's much more desirable carby car, so that makes the blue hot-rod worth $150K.

 

Or a straight swap for a high mileage 360 ( I’m dreaming ofcourse, it would bankrupt me

 

I know nothing about these cars, but I agree with this 100%.
