I've never complained about SG - always to-go and free! Even the street tacos & whatever bread they have is a welcome respite from DIY.

I made a whole crockpot of sauce and gave the meatball leftovers to others. So I grabbed a pork steak and Italian sausage and threw 'em in the sauce to cook. Might as well use it! Will try it with zoodles tomorrow.

Last night was good. But I ate too much. Two chicken parms over a plate of spaghetti. Add in the apple crumble and caramel ice cream, it was a bit much. Tonight I'm finishing off the beef tacos.

Shoulda skipped the spaghetti, and saved room for more crumble and cream. Does your mom put cinnamon in her crumble?

This is what happens when I let the missus take the F-450 to Costco unsupervised. I'm cooking a whole mess of drummies over an oak /pecan fire. Man, I hope the neighbors are hungry!

Resting these off to the side. Spicy gojuchang with mine, bbq sauce for the missus. The overage goes to our neighbors with no sauce...T

Yes, cinnamon in the crumble. I have some apples and think I'm going to have her make another one.

I don't but saute mushrooms with shallots and garlic. Then Calabrian chili and tomato paste. White wine, chicken stock, cream. Parmesan and parsley over pasta. Incredible

Found this Iberian ham at Costco. Probably 12 pounds and came with a cheap stand and carving knife. 100 bucks. Looking forward to trying since I haven’t had real Iberian ham since 2003. I know it will not be as good as pata negra, but nonetheless. Sisters visiting this week and we’ll break it open.

I saw those but that is a lot of ham. I suppose it keeps for just about forever though. I usually get some Serrano from Central Market when I venture up there. I've said for years it so much better than Prosciutto. :) Let us know how it is, maybe I'll grab one for holiday dinner or something.

I was red-sauced out after eating it for a couple days. Leftovers over zoodles was good for dinner last night. Grabbed some chicken and just threw a few things in with it, I had seen a parmesan crusted recipe somewhere except I forgot they used mustard to hold the cheese on. Mine didn't stick so it ended up almost like chicken breast in cheese sauce. Added some mushrooms and a lot of garlic so it was tasty no matter.

Brother is over watching the world series. Easiest thing that both us agree on is pizza. So brought home Pizza Hut.................

I'm not a big fan of ham, rarely eat it. My mom does buy a ham once or twice per year and invites us over for dinner. I always get something else.

Wife made dinner from start to finish without me last night (I usually do the cooking, or we share it). She went with sesame seed sautéed shrimp, basmati rice and edamame. Pretty good and nice to simply walk to the table and sit down and eat.

Brother is going to be over watching the world series again. Not sure on dinner, it will be fast food. Probably Five Guys, was there the other day. Maybe Fatburger to change it up and they sell beer.

Wife asked me if I prefer a meal like that or just a plate of stuff and desert.

I’m getting too old for tasting menus. They usually just jumble my insides unless chef is smart and it all flows with a theme.

That did not flow BUT the pork was amazing.

I could’ve done a plate of that and been happy.

That orange pumpkin saffron juice though - man it was good!
