Anyone else have problems with the TPMS system? My wheel sensors are about 3 years old. When I check through the OBD II System they all show a strong signal. Every time I start the car, I have a TPMS system failure light. I have to recalibrate several times to get the system to read. Usually stays working until I shut the car off and then it the whole process again. Sometimes I can not get it to recalibrate. Any thoughts? Maybe the receiving unit is faulty?

I’m new to this, but I’m also having issues. Mine seems to show a failure on initial start up and when I start next time it’s all good for the rest of the day. No idea why sorry.

If you have access to live data, you can read the battery percentages. 3 years is pretty early for them to be failing, but not beyond the bounds.

Same problem with NEW TPMS sensors. Dealership reset it and that lasted for a few hours.
Now back to same problem again.
    Faulty TPMS module?

Hi just got my 08 and they don’t work at all so I was going to get new tires and sensors, are these sensors Ferrari specific?
    Thanks

The OEM sensors are 433 Mhz Huf/Beru. Lots of options out there for programmable sensors that emulate the OEM ones. I went with Autel MX sensors and even programmed them with the same ID as the previous ones so didn't even need to self learn.

I just ordered a set from TireRack when I ordered tires. Reasonably priced and work perfectly.

Would you share the programming device needed and the process?

I need tires soon and was going to replace the TPMS at the same time.

Thank you in advance for the guidance .... Mark

I have been having this issue since a few months after the tire sensors were replaced. They initially worked well for a few months then less and less. Now I get a fault code upon start up every time. I can usually get it to clear after several try and maybe 20 minutes of drive time.
