    The dark green over tan is such an achingly beautiful and classic combination. I wouldn't do it, personally. But I love it and respect all who do. Total class.

    You have to love the autobahn. The only time I drove it was in 1971. My buddy and I had Triumph Bonnevilles. We topped out at 115 mph (we had windshields and saddle bags). I remember there was a section, which I think was in East Germany, where there was an actual banked turn. We were so intimidated when we approached it that we actually backed off instead of taking it at full throttle.

    Later we were stopped by East German police, but that's a story for another day.
