I just bought a 512TR that had been sitting approximately since 2006 (15 year old belts even). Just removed the belts, had the car thoroughly gone over. It may require a decent amount of work, but as long as major components are missing or damaged and stored reasonably, I think these cars can be brought back to life with relatively little drama.

It's my car. I had originally planned to sell it a few years ago - but never got around to it. Since the last major on 10/2013 at 36,093 miles, I've put on ~4,000 miles in the last 8 years - or approximately 500 miles a year. Just too busy with work & family.

I love the 512TRs. As was mentioned on the auction, this is a fantastic car to buy and then drive for the pure enjoyment without the mileage guilt. A little TLC on this one and she's gonna be a stunner!

I think you are going to do quite well on this one. Best of luck!

150+5=155 for a car needing service. Not bad.

I would post driving videos of your car. Cold start videos etc. I think that adds a lot of value to people looking at your car. Probably also helps a great deal in you getting the most for your car. This shows the condition of the car. Also a shot of the dash while it’s running to indicate no dash lights are on. Just a little help for your ad.

It can only hurt the price one would think as it makes the car less desireable but for some reason so far no.

TR should and probably will be $200-400 car in the future. Not sure why they are not. What 12 cylinder Ferrari can you buy for $100-150 right now? TR is the last of the 12 cyl Ferrari's that are not in the millions.

well, one or two a week won't hurt the market, they made 7,700+ maybe if they put the 50+ a week requests they get from testarossa owners to sell their cars there it would for sure, BaT is a different economy as we all know, and it's because they limit the amount of cars they sell that are the same.

Yep - BAT beat me up on the listing pricing - but the market is the market. All good.
