    New owner here. First Ferrari owned. 2015 Italia 458 Speciale Aperta. Here are 5 pictures I have of it as it was leaving the dealership in Austin, Texas. I live in a suburb of Illinois outside of Chicago and the weather is not on my side, oh well. 3390 miles. Had been looking for several months. I started out looking for a 458 Italia coupe, then changed my mind for a 458 Speciale Coupe, and finally decided for the Aperta. Plan on keeping it forever so to speak

    That SA is drop dead gorgeous! To me, it's the best Ferrari that came in between 2010-2020 outside of LaF.

    Sorry, I have to figure out how to work this this and insert your quote, not sure how this is going to come out. I will say that yes, I have learned that the Aperta is 1 0f 499 made worldwide which includes I believe 49 right hand drive cars.

    I wish that answer was an easy one to do but I live in the winter wonderland suburb of Chicago and it could be any day now that the first snow comes and the over zealous snow plows dump their evils on our streets. All of that means is that our driving season here is really from about mid April (once the streets are fully cleaned up by rain) to sometime in November. For us, besides the colder temperatures on tires, there is no way that it ever sees any salt residue on its body. So, maybe I can get lucky and get out for a spin or 2 otherwise, its sleepy time in the garage all safe and sound. I will say this, the 458 Italia has a way of making a good impression on you every time you look at it.

    Congrats! I love that spec. I am pretty sure I saw the twin of that car (or maybe the maybe that actual car?) a while back at the Ferrari dealership in Scottsdale. Congrats again.

    Thank you. It is a small world as we know and you never know. I am not sure what you mean by awhile back though I can say from my records is that the original owner purchased this one from a Ferrari dealership in San Francisco back in 2015 and then trucked it down to Arizona where it spent 5 years with that owner and had been serviced by the Ferrari dealership in Scottsdale on occasion. So maybe that was when you spotted it? It was then purchased by a guy out in Massachusetts in January of 2020. He only owned it a short time where the dealer that I purchased it from at Ferrari of Austin, Texas had taken the car in.
