I'm looking at an old alfa in las vegas. Having a tough time finding a reputable shop to look at it. One that knows their way around the particular issues with these cars (ie where to look for rust).

    Any suggestions?

Italy Service seems to be the one place people mention for older Alfas or Ferraris but they are not taking any new work. Towbin says they won't work on an older car.

The two I've come up with are Silver Arrow LLC and CARS NV (stands for Complete Auto Repair Specialists). But neither really seems to have much experience with older alfas.

    Thanks Fchat!

Other than Italy Service I don't have anyone top of mind - maybe Trophy Performance but they're Porsche master tech guys. The Alfa dealer is likely only going to look at 4C, Giulias and Stelvios.

I really like CARS NV and knew the owners, they used to maintain my Audi, my paralegal has an Audi he maintains there too. I found them to be trustworthy [ie they would say things that can wait, and were honest with me when a car hit that point of maintenance cost/value].

@TheMayor might be your best bet!

Thanks, that's helpful feedback on CARS NV. I called several Porsche shops including Trophy and they only work on those.
