It's French owner passed away fairly recently. There are other major cars in the collection but the family isn't selling.
Yes I saw it at the musee de Mougins in the early 80's, still have slides in my attic but no the owner last time I spoke to him, at Chantilly several years ago, 2016 maybe, confirmed to me he had the cars in his location in the countryside outside Paris. I drove his Maserati Bora Group 4 (chassis 3001 the second of 2) summer 1995 with its late owner for an article (Sportscar International, USA) and visited his house in Paris the day after in the 16th arrondissement. He showed large scale plans/drawings for the 512S yellow showcar. The collection also has the Shah of Iran's 5000GT, a Jackie Stewart world championship winning car and quite a few other top caliber cars but I did not visit that.
Marc, Did DK Engineering have the 512 S Prototipo at some point in, say, the last 10 years or so? Not sure if it was in for service or was actually for sale. I remember seeing the car under a translucent slip cover 10-12 years ago.
No idea, sorry. I very much doubt it was for sale, likely the owner, who may have had property in the UK as well, wanted some work done on it.

Would you happen to see 0121S among the lots in either years? It's said to have sold at the 1976 auction, but I wonder if it was also offered in 1975.
0121 S was not offered in 1975. It was offered at the 18 March 1976 Christie's auction in Geneva, Switzerland, Lot #33, painted medium blue, consigned by Gary Schmidt, sold for Swiss Francs CHF 31'000 to E.S. Marcel Massini
or 0267 I have lot 41 at Geneva 18 march 1976. Geneva 20 march 1975 was lot 55. Would you happen to see 0121S among the lots in either years? You have the year wrong. It is not from 1975 but from 18 March 1976. Lot #33 was Chassis #0121 S. I personally attended that auction in Geneva which was held during the XLVI Geneva Motor Show. Here are scans from the auction catalog. No photo of 0121 was in the catalog, just a one page description in English (left side) and French language (right side). The car had been consigned to this auction by Gary D. Schmidt, an American stationed in Bitburg/Eifel, Germany, at the time. Lot #33, 0121 S at the Christie's auction in Geneva 18 March 1976. The below photo was taken by Swiss Albert Henderson. Marcel Massini Image Unavailable, Please Login
The race car display was something totally different and separate and had nothing to do with the Christie's classic car auction 18 March 1976. Marcel Massini
Ok, je suis d'accord avec vous, je n'ai pas dit que 0121S et 0267EU, étaient aux enchères, mais juste en expositions au sous-sol. j'espère que l'on c'est compris. Cordialement
They tell me that maybe it was not in a motor show but if it was on the cover of a German magazine between those years, can someone help me?
wbaeumer, yes, I saw, but I express myself better in French, to make sure I'm understood. translators are not always perfect a thousand apologies sir
but all other who have to translate your french into english have then the same problem of understanding because the translators less than perfect there is a french section here: https://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/forums/france.142/ for writing in french
So learn proper English, apprends! Compared to thirty years ago far more French people have learned decent English. Being half French I can say it, those who don't are simply lazy. Oh and my other nation Sweden, has the highest percentage of any nation of people who also speak English: 100%. Yes. Get on with it, au boulot.
