Would the car look any better with those exposed carbon pieces painted body color?

Good shot of the nicest elements of the car, thanks.

What’s the deal with A- and B-pillars. The B-pillar looks to be structural but the door glass split line is at the A-pillar, yes?

Can you tell us / show us what the funky tapered wasp-waist area looks like from standing right over it, looking down.

We can now add countless strakes to the aforementioned. The rear end looks like a bathroom heating unit.

Fair enough, don't buy one, and if you are lucky enough to see one, close your eyes. :)

Speaking of carbon fiber, there appears to mix of gloss and matte finish along with a different carbon pattern (twill weave) for the exhaust exit.

Where did the extra 200kg vs. Laferrari Aperta come from?

Surely smaller shields and painted carbon fibre could transform this design. Lots to love and yet lots to shake your head at regardless.

At least they are using this 'icona' series to try something different with exterior design although charging 2 million euros for a rebodied SF90 or F8 is really trying to squeeze as much juice out of the orange as possible IMO.

Wonder how easy it would be to take off those awful mirrors and contact someone like Gordon Murray Design for a set of their cameras?

Probably. But just as importantly the design would not have evolved to cater to so much exposed CF. Exposed CF that is either to give perceived value for such an expensive car in the mind of the buyer or to allow for extra-cost options of CF parts.

In the end if people were willing to pay for CF and didn’t care that they ended up with a patchwork mess of a car, can’t really blame Ferrari for doing this.

The most egregious example of patchwork is the 458 with CF skirts, filler lid and more:

Not at all. I dont think it's ugly but after the Monza, I was expecting a top model. It's very interesting to look at and definitely has some beautiful angles but the 2nd half looks like it doesnt match the first half.

Actually, Bianco opaco sounded promising during the week, but IMO this Rosso Magma completely steals the show. In fact I believe they could ditch Rosso Corsa forever, starting today...

Ferrari in-house design have lost the plot.

Despite that though, like the McLaren Senna, from pics alone the car obviously commands presence, and to some, that equates to beauty.

To my eyes, like many of the recent designs from Ferrari, certain parts of the car in isolation look great but as a whole, it’s quite the hot mess.

Disappointed, it’s not special aside the outside….
The inside is really always the same in the new stuff. Was expecting more.
Not saying it’s not great, but not dreamy

I didn't post this during the week but I found rather weird/possibly fake that the car didn't have a name yet. I was right :)

Also shows the car to be in Washington - I think it’s safe to assume this is a hybrid pic of photo/render
