It won't. Clearly stated during the question round after the launch.

The manual gearbox has gone the way of the Dodo bird in Ferrari land. Any discussion about a manual is meaningless and moot.

How did you come up with that weight difference?

It's actually a rebodied LaFerrari Aperta, sans the hybrid system, only slower and uglier. The LaFerrari chassis and a reworked Competizione engine though might warrant the price tag. Which begs the question: "How much will the LaFerrari replacement cost?!".

800 k € more than an LF, without options, knowing that we recycled a carbon body, an engine, a gearbox and a digital screen ...
I don t know what to say...
Is that worth 1.5 million more than an 812 Competizione that will do the same job, of course not ...

Had it gone with Monza styling... I gotta say that Daytona sketch is superb, very edgy, makes the final product look like melted wax.

If the LF came out today it would cost more than that, inflation corrected. When Lambo sells rebodied Aventadors for 2-3 millions, Ferrari can surely do the same. The problem is that a 500k SF90 Stradale outperforms this 2 million Euros Icona car...

Photos do not do her justice at all. and some photo angles come across just nasty.
I am still trying to understand the massive dry weight figure that is my only real issue with her so far.

That would be a shame if you get insults. Beauty is subjective and you’re entitled to your feelings about it. It is a very bold design and I personally think it’s incredible. So different from the Monza but that’s actually a good thing to me.

The Monza is clean, sculpted and simple. Just like the racers of the 50s from which it was inspired. The Daytona is bold and eccentric and some angles even wild but that is also characteristic of the 60s from which it was inspired. To me both represent their inspirations (and times) so well while adding a modern touch. I’m super impressed! The hardest part will be waiting for it to arrive and finally being able to drive it. The easiest part will be the spec. Unlike the Monza, there is only one choice for me!

Am I the only one to think it looks like the lovechild of a Laf Aperta and a J50 ?

I get what people are saying with comments that it looks like a mish-mash mess.... but for some reason I think it works. Just played 18 and tried to keep this app closed the whole time and couldn’t keep the image of this car out of my head. It’s just awesome, no other way to put it. The kind of car you could walk around for hours and keep finding new curves and details to appreciate. This thing will look absolutely alien on public streets.

I thought the LaF was not good looking in photos when it first debuted. Then I saw it in person and realized the shapes on the car are too complex for a 2D photo to convey and it looks really good in person. This may end up being the same...

in a world of "meet too" designs, this one does stand out

let's see if any follow (like the Monza inspired; McLaren, Aston Martin, etc), perhaps a clue will be mirror on the front fender or body shape conforming to rear wheels...

What details do you feel are not being translated from seeing it person vs the online photos? Noticed that the in person consensus is very positive vs mixed reaction from the photo feedback.

Also I think this cars v12 would sound great driving towards Sounion : )

Let’s do some photo comparisons of LaF and this.
