The world loves the Toyota Corolla, so I think we can happily disregard its opinion ;)

I knew the 365 GTC/4 would be on there and I'm still struck with indignation.

So who is in this world? More than a few will always lust for a 308 or a 360. Poor fact checking as well. The 365 gtc4 that I have owned for many years has a clutch cable. Mike

Um yeah, clearly everyone doesn't love F50's. That's why they are so cheap.

    Lmao, "journalists".

I would love to have any one of those listed in my driveway! Especially a testatossa and 308gt4. Ferraris age like fine wine.

What is even more interesting are the "less desirable" ferrari's back when I bought my first one. The 250GTE was a dog, and even more hated was the 250GT PF Coupe. Mike Sheehan once told me, when you drive up to a car show in a PF Coupe, no one will even know what it is, and will have no interest in it.

Well no one is ever going to agree which models are better or worse, however it seems simple enough to say which are “least loved” would be those with the least market demand, therefore the lowest average market price. That being said F50??? What the heck????

    308GT4.

The good news is that it is fun to drive in a '70's kind of way and it's (relatively speaking) affordable.

I remember talking to the service guy at Ferrari Seattle long ago. They had a 250GTE being worked on. He said why in the hell would anybody spend 25K on an old Ferrari when an engine rebuild would cost as much as you paid for the car. Man has that changed.

Just because it's click bait doesn't mean it's not right in parts. The F50, now a "collector car", was very cooly received when new for being clinical and less exciting than F40, as well as looking worse. It's probable that if they had built more than 1000, rather than 349, its value would be way below that of an F40 today.

The lukewarm reviews were from people who actually drove them, rather than armchair commentators Googling prices and bemoaning the death of journalism while tapping through the internet and not buying newspapers or magazines, which is like complaining that your local stores have all closed while furnishing your house and providing for your family via Amazon.

I own two of the cars on this list so I should be annoyed..but I actually agree with it. Early 575s were sloppy, addressed soon with changes including the FHP, but the reputational damage was done. All kinds of Ferraristi angst against my 512.

if one reads what it says, it's quite correct and well informed. If you decide not to bother reading it and be outraged, don't let me spoil your fun.

Meh. I bought a mondial. Its unloved. Don't care. It fit the bill for what I wanted.
Mid engined, manual steering, gated shifter, luggage room.
Also it draws less attention. Love my viper but it draws way too much attention to leave it in a parking lot overnight.

The Mondial is getting more love.

I mean Chris Harris absolutely enjoys his.

    It's a very under-rated Ferrari,

The Mondial can be explained by also understanding the 1980 Corvette 305.

Thought you might find this interesting.

    Mondial 8 sold for $70,000 (including 5% buyer's fee)

    Had 40k miles.
