Tributo
Well I placed my Spider order Sept 3, 2021. So I have a long wait but feel very fortunate as I didn’t know they were closing the books a month later. Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat
Any info out there on how long it typically takes to get on a truck once it shows up in Newark, NJ, with the customs wait, etc.? We assumed the car was on the Vienna Express that got there last Tuesday and left Friday. Thanks.
I took delivery at the very beginning of July 2021. My car sat at the port for 2 - 3 weeks before being delivered to the dealer, which was less than an hour drive from the NJ port to PA. The time frame was due to all of the typical issues - port congestion, COVID, Ferrari processing paperwork, etc. For me it was the worst part of the wait - knowing that the car was in port and just sitting.
Same here. Arrived in Jersey last week. Waiting to be assigned a truck as of this past Saturday to truck it down to Tampa.
Unbelievable, my car has been sitting at Port since 11/10, I am going to follow up with the Dealer again tomorrow to see if any luck with the Trucker. Good luck on yours as well.
I’m thinking mid January is more likely. It seems 90 also means “no longer in storage” rather than just strictly shipping. The Chicago express seems to be the likeliest vessel that the car will be on, and it’s still a couple stops from Genoa. I’m guessing the car is being moved to port which is technically no longer storage I suppose. Progress!
This year the import ports seem to have one issue after the next. My 992 Turbo S Cabriolet sat in the Houston port from mid November until February waiting for some CARB certification. I just assuming my F8 (if I ever get it) will be almost a year out from my deposit.
Good Luck Guys. I'm 18m out. Try n Relax you are so close, a couple of wks is still worth it. Stay healthy and pain free.
I just found out yesterday that my car (F8 Tributo) which I ordered on Jan 10 2021 is now not arriving until May next year. The sales guy was telling me the car was 10R in August and I kept trying to find out how it was progressing without any feedback. Turns out he got fired and the new guy says the car is only 10G right now. Super frustrating! 18 months turn around for a Tributo?? I will just keep drooling over your cars! If I hadnt ordered a wheels, exhaust etc already I would probably have cancelled the order hearing that news.
Your disappointment is absolutely justifiable and it’s possible your order may never be filled. You can continue to wait patiently or sell the wheels/exhaust and move on.
Who was fired? Alex left on his own in February (moved to France)...otherwise Keith, Scott and Rick were not removed...or was it another dealer?
Rick just left for another opportunity, as in the past week, he paused his departure until Keith returned from Italy; Rick was NOT fired...so, who was fired?
If he wasnt fired - he should have been! Tuck it away big boy - no need for the keyboard warrior nonsense. That is what I was told. Ultimately doesnt matter who what happened, my situation remains the same.
I’m sorry Bro! I agree with you. Doesn’t matter what happened at the end of the day you are the one who got screwed. I really hope your order is filled.
