Looking at the website pictures… The car appears to be a bit older than 45,000 miles. Black/Red GTB. The carpets need full replacement.. seats appear very weather aged. Engine bay shows rust. No under carriage photos. Dealer asking +62k.

Try posting in the Midstate region. There are many people in the Philadelphia area just across the river from there.

I posted in the tri-state too.

The list of issues is long.
IMHO - this is NOT a first time owner's car.
I did not start the car as it was inside the showroom.
I'd guess somebody started to restore it and gave in. And it sat. and sat. and sat. There were cob webs in the suspension. There was light dust on the oil coating from when it was stored.
Maybe it was just transported to auction in a dusty truck or dusty location.
and the obligatory oil drips from the oil pan.

Pro: looks pretty good on the outside. I presume it's a recent paint job.
Belts didn't show dry rot. they looked ok with a flashlight
No rust in the usual places (there was some). I could look down by the battery, but the trunk carpet was screwed down so I couldn't check below it.

    Cons:
    1) No documentation
    2) It was an auction car
    3) No tool kit(s)
    4) The interior is garbage. the rugs have chunks missing. I presume from dry-rot
    a) from the pics, you'll need carpets
    b) from the pics, you'll need new leather
    c) You may be able to salvage the roof material, though a couple screws in it might trouble you. Lots of things had sheet metal screws in them holding them in place.
    d) the binacles leather is drooping on the inside roof near the speedo & tach and the metal fascade for the guages was loose. the speedo was in place tilted.
    5) I couldn't test the electricals. There wasn't any power to anything except the antenna. but I just heard the motor engage, I didn't see any mast movement
    6) Light stalk is broken
    7) all 4 tires are the same - Pirelli P77 205/55/14. they are in the rotting stage with spider cracks. All four center caps are cloudy. all 4 rims look like they were spray painted silver. one tire was missing a lug. One tire had a non-chrome lug in place.
    8) with the key in position 1 for say 3 min, there was the strong smell of gasoline outside the cabin. I didn't see anything on the floor
    9) the interior environmental controls weren't pretty . Chrome was flaking off, the choke was broken
    10) the muffler had a small rust hole forming in the center

I'll shoot the OP a much more detailed list...in case he has thoughts of trying to salvage this car :)

    ah,you know.
    buff out the paint,
    WD40 the suspension,
put those ebay red horsey seat covers on
and wire an internal 12V dry cell to bring power into the cabin.
    Good to go :)

On the way home, I saw a cement mixer truck covered from grill to trough with Christmas lights sparklin away.
I'm thinking that might be an option for this 308.

Definetely a car in need. But if someone WANT a black on red 308 they are not for sale everyday. Also this is a early non-catalyst carb car which is desirable.
For someone handy they are fairly easy to restore. Interior is going to be expensive. The cheapest correct seat kit is from Topsonline.com and are over $2000. Plus labour. And I seriously suggest professional installation for those. The actual asking prices for early 308 GTB in better condition are high in comparision.
It give some room to spend for parts if you can do the labour.
If you are NOT handy and going to pay for labour I suggest to pass on this one.
