Only way to go on these cars. Did it to my C/4 15 years ago (since then has been sold) after rebuild to self leveling units didn't last 6 months. Good choice.
Love the car and love the color. And am following you detailed post with great interest.
Just be sure you don't put the water pump seal in backwards. The shop that rebuilt my motor did this, which dumped coolant into the oil supply and trashed a brand new motor.

Beautiful work , that will be surely the best GTC\4 on the road anywhere.
I still dream of owning one one day. And really love your colour scheme .

I have always loved the c-4, but this color is the best ever. I saw a light mint green one years ago thought it was the color to be had, but the brownie is by far the best. Nice work being done. Thanks for sharing

Indeed, the quality of the car (and the workmanship of the restoration) is impressive. Thanks for posting these photos.

As i wrote in the first post, it‘s a real survivor, no accident, ca. 80% in first paint with all the italian factory finish charme of the 70s :D and only one typical era were the rust did it‘s job, under the air pipes at the front. All other eras, frame, doors, arches, tubes, panels, etc. no corrosion.
So it‘s for sure that this era under the air pipes, in front of rain and street with dirt and humidity is a sensitive one!
So make sure to fix it at your Gobbone and preserve the era with wax, etc.
It‘s hard to see when engine and parts are in the car but if you have a engine out service
it‘s perfect time to fix that.

Lovely, lovely work with the restoration. She's a beauty and I'm sure the 308 GTB stablemate would agree your attention to detail is appreciated.

Yes, technic was restored, the suspension got a new lease on life
and the engine a lot of work too but it‘s important for me to clarify that
the car wasn’t restored, it is more a first paint survivor preservation with
a lot of love and work in the detail, keeping it the most possible way original.

Beside the metal work at the front air pipes the back bottom got a new finish,
the rest remain like lefting the factory 1972. :)

Great car. I always loced these nice cars. Always preferred them over the Daytona.

Sadly, no example in our garage, but the bucket list is long... too long...

With Thomas you have one of the best guys for a sensible and correct refreshness. Good choice!
