512TR ventilation air exit?

    I assume when the HVAC is in fresh-air mode there is some accommodation in the body to allow the air to exit. If so, does anyone know where that is? I expected to find it around the rear window somewhere but apparently not.

    If you remove the covers over the seat belt mouse motors, you will find a ~1" hole there. It traces to the engine bay.

    But there needs to be more to vent the car when you close the doors.

    Hey Alan - seeing you're in the Bay. Were you by chance driving on Highway near Half Moon Bay yesterday? Spotted a red 512TR buzzing me on the bicycle.

    I wish, but I did test up on Skyline where I live. Mine’s black.

    Raysur -- do you happen to know where in the engine bay that air path exits?

    From what I remember it dumped out on top of the radiator. I stuck my work light in that hole to see where it ended. The 512 TR might be different since your engine's intake draws its air from there.
