    I have a 4 yr old LG cell running android version 7 and I would like to update it to v8 or higher. I looked on the google play store site and there were many programs offering the update. How do I know which one to use? Thanks

    You don't update from the play store. Go to the phones settings and check for updates.

    You may want to think about a new phone as I doubt that phone will be able to update to the latest OS, 11 with 12 on the way.

    thanks i will check updates. i dont really care about latest os. the one app i want is no longer working on 7. just 8.

    i would get new phone but just had broken screen repaired last month when i didnt know that app was changing.
