Was going to make homemade spaghetti and meatballs. But ground beef was smelling off. Saw a Little Caesars commercial for their limited time only deep deep dish Quattro pizza. It looks good. So I'm going to get one for dinner: New Quattro Deep Deep Dish Pizza Debuts At Little Caesars Canada - Canadify
Leftover turkey? I am soooo plain when it comes to this you guys might expel me from the thread, but I like thinly sliced turkey on white bread with lots of mayo and salt and pepper.
Roasted Brussel sprouts in the background. They had penne from Verona (where we’re from)… Image Unavailable, Please Login Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat

I always make sure to grab the little oysters when I do a roast or Costco chicken. At Thanksgiving I use the neck and giblets for making stock for gravy since I usually deep fry the turkey.
Went out to dinner with friends tonight. I had Halibut and chips. Fish was very lightly beer battered and very crispy, great stuff!! Stopped at the store on the way home and made a beef/shroom/cabbage/kale soup. So will be eating that for the next few days. I swear I actually tried to make a smaller batch and still ended up with a pot full.
Yummy. Add a nice slice of fresh tomato to that - if you can find one at this time of the year and you're eating line a king! T
Soup is like that! Next time, try replacing the soup with your favorite sausage - something like lap cheong. Made a batch of that years ago and it's still one of the best soups I've whipped up...T
Pizza! Pizza! Now that's a pizza designed to satisfy both meat and veggie lovers. Wife and I used the holiday to hop in the truck and explore roads that we've not been on. Also, trying some mom and pop Mexican joints that friends recommended in the vicinity. Image Unavailable, Please Login A few nights ago. Chimichanga at Casa Torres in Decatur, Texas. Very filling and flavorful. Image Unavailable, Please Login Julio's in the microscopic town of Chico. That's a ton of food! Mixed beef and chicken fajitas. Leftovers made a filling lunch the next day and I still have a few tortillas leftover. T
And it’s different all the time, Always a surprise. They only make stuff that grows here so interesting how they invent things like chocolate out of other stuff. Very creative folks.
Actually my wife adds bacon and cheese, but she doesn't eat white bread, she has some kind of pita bread.
It was a good pizza, well except the just cheese section. Having the left overs for breakfast......................... Doing the spaghetti and meatballs tonight.
This time with the meatballs, I'm buying premade fresh ones at the prepared foods meat counter at Safeway. The pizza was better the next day. Since its a deep dish pizza, lots of grease. It crystalized the crust. Hope they keep this pizza on the menu. It says limited time only though, but that maybe just the price.
Breaking in a new pot with chili. Cornbread was excellent and made with some Calabrian peppers we brought along from back East. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Le Creuset. Cool. I'm trying to avoid the internet until the end of Cyber Monday. If I buy any more cookware, the wife is going to strangle me! Got a cheap electric grill for inside cooking. Asked myself - can I make pizza on this bugger? Answer = yes! Take a flour tortilla. Toast up on both sides until it's nice and crispy. Add tomato sauce, mozz and spices and toppings. Keep cooking until cheese is melting. I used the glass cover to an electric skillet to keep the heat in as much as possible. Then blast the mini pizza in the microwave for 45 sec to get the cheese bubbly and gooey. Let cool long enough to avoid 3rd degree burns on the roof of your mouth. Enjoy.
