Thank you, Sven: how are you, did you recover from your illness? I'm very sorry I can't send you the leather flavor coming from the box cover and the book itself: that's a plus only the owner can enjoy! Ciao

I can follow the general sense, Alberto; I'm losing some detail here and there, but the general idea is O.K . Ciao
Yesterday I signed another fresh batch of the special limited edition book: my "assistant" was the editor himself, Carlo Bonacini, Artestampa Edizioni owner. ciao Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login

Congratulations Albert, perhaps I've missed something, but I am not seeing USA for a shipping destination?
They definitely ship to the USA. I ordered the special edition plus a regular edition to give to a friend for Christmas. The books left Modena and went to Milan where they have been sitting for 7 days. I assume waiting to get through customs.
Yes, my special edition arrived in Wyoming last week. Now I’m waiting until Christmas to look at it. Everything Ferrari involves waiting, right? Andy
Altogether it took about two weeks. Seemed to hang out in Milan for a few days. Once the book cleared customs in the US, it was quickly delivered by the USPS (signature required). Andy
The editor told me that every single copy shipping takes 20 minutes only for packaging, as they want to be sure this precious book will arrive without any damage even if the shipper acts like a beast with package handling. Shipping is fully covered by insurance and when they ship to the United States they have to prepare also a special declare as it belongs to the leather goods group,, so it requires a special pass when it arrives at US Custom: Simone Schedoni himself helped Artestampa Editor in preparing that document. Ciao
I wish all the people I have bought books from in the past spent 20 minutes on packing up my book. If fact for some (eBay sellers mainly) I'd say they didn't even spend 2 minutes. And the resulting damage occurred.
Sadly, true. I bought a somewhat expensive Ferrari book from a seller in England who sells on ABE Books, so you’d expect responsible packaging, right? No way. He stuffed it into what amounted to a cardboard envelope and sent it off to the USA. It arrived with every single corner bumped. Jackass.
The packaging from Artestampa is really excellent and with much care. And thus you need 20 minutes to unwrap it as well
My books (special edition and regular edition) arrived in Milano on the 20th and they're still sitting there.
the editor was kidding with me exactly about this last Saturday during the signing process, telling me: "I would like to see an unboxing video of the package, as in my opinion they will need half a day to properly unboxing it!" So, if anyone here has a video to share, the editor will be happy to see it!! Ciao
