Sorry, but that E-Type is a travesty. That color, wrong knock-offs, and no bumpers is doing it exactly ZERO favors...
I've seen that car too in the Five Forks area down Woodruff road. Grigio Ingrid color (champagne) I believe with yellow calipers. I have a pic on my phone of it somewhere. Also, I've recently seen a blue Huracan (EVO) spyder off Roper Mountain Road. Saturday morning a red 458 Italia off Woodruff Road. Then later in the evening an eggplant-color Countach!! I was driving through the Taylors area to a friend's and there it was. Couldn't believe my eyes. I've seen a maroon one at Michelin C&C but I went back to check the color in my phone, not the same car. This was very similar to Ferrari's classiche color, Vinaccia.
The owner did say it wasn't an E-Type color. Not the most beautiful E-Type I've ever seen but definitely still cool to see driving around in the wild. Monday 10/25 in Charlotte: -Yellow 360 F1 Spider at the Barnes & Noble plaza in Southpark around 2:30pm. Black and yellow interior, California plates. Tuesday 10.26 in Charlotte: -TDF blue California on Sharon Rd coincidentally right next to the same plaza a little after 3pm. Then saw either the same car or an identically specced one at the Queens and Providence Rd intersection a few minutes later. -Red California at the Dowd YMCA at about 3:30pm. Looked like it had Texas plates, maybe @tomc on vacation? Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Spotted a rossa corsa 430 Scuderia on Kensington Rd. in Waxhaw yesterday around 12:30. Had paper tags, congrats to the owner on a great pickup!
Saturday 10/30 in Charlotte: -Rosso Corsa Portofino in Southpark about 7:30pm. Saturday 11/6 in Charlotte: -Grey 488 on Providence Rd out towards Weddington, heading towards Charlotte around 4:40pm. -Bonus pic/sighting from Motori Italiani. Stuck in traffic behind this Huracan near 131 Main which ended up pulling into the restaurant and parking behind this 308 GTS just before 6pm. I believe this is @Grigio 308 's car. An Audi R8 V10 Spyder with a gated manual happened to pull in a few minutes later. There was also a purple Bentley Bentayga in the corner of the lot. -Another (or possibly the same) 488 in Southpark about 7pm on Sharon Rd. Unfortunately both of them were going in the opposite direction when I saw them. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Wow that's an incredible catch even for Charlotte. Heritage Edition GTs are worth a fortune and sadly are rarely ever seen outside of shows anymore. Great to see a 512 out and about as well! Not a Ferrari but I think worthy of an exception. Was driving down Graham St on Wednesday evening (11/10) when this green Aventador SVJ cruised by in the other direction. Saw it turn into the QT gas station at Dalton Ave so I made a u turn to check it out, where I found it parked next to a couple of Maybachs and an Urus. I later learned that it was rapper DaBaby who apparently was shooting a music video there for some reason. Image Unavailable, Please Login
It had been a few weeks since I'd seen any Ferraris around, so I guess I was bound to see something good sooner or later...today at the Southpark Mall about 4:15pm: Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login A couple other notable sightings recently include a Phantom Convertible in Southpark on Wednesday night, orange 765LT in South End last Friday evening, and a grey Cullinan with a Novitec widebody kit in Uptown a few minutes after seeing that.
Red F430 Spider turning left off of Stone Ave to go into downtown Greenville just now. Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat
A few sightings last night in Charlotte... -Yellow 812 Superfast in Southpark at about 5:30pm. -White 488 GTB at the Cafe Monte plaza a little after 7pm. -Red 488 Spider at a hotel/restaurant in Uptown a little before 10pm. Just around the corner was an orange McLaren 720S Spider. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Beautiful Grigio 488 driving through Hillsborough yesterday. Not sure which Grigio it was, but an absolute stunner of a spec. Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat
Not a Ferrari but I saw a brand new Porsche 992 GT3 in Southpark yesterday about 5pm. White with black interior and a manual transmission.
Was eating a late lunch in Southpark yesterday when this blue California cruised by on Sharon Rd around 4pm. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Red California T this morning driving on whatever that highway is leading into Raleigh lol. Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat
Wednesday 12/29 - Red 488 Spider turning onto Stonewall in front of the Duke Energy Center in uptown Charlotte at about 5:30pm. Sorry for the blurry pic, barely saw it in time to get any pics. There are a few new-to-the-area exotics to keep your eyes out for, including a matte white Aventador SVJ (joins about a dozen other SVJs around Charlotte), black 488 Pista, and white w/Martini livery Porsche 918 Spyder Weissach Package. Saw what looked to be a red 458 or 488 in uptown this morning about 10am. It was a few blocks away on Church St with its hazards on, as I was turning right off of Stonewall. No idea what it was doing there. Lots of Lambos and McLarens running around over the past few days as well.
Wednesday 1/12 in Concord, saw @ILLA NOIZ 's great-looking 348ts at a Food Lion shopping center about 4:30pm. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Red F430 late Friday night/early Sat morning (about 12:45am) at the Crave Dessert Bar on Graham St. Looked like the one I saw there a few months back.
There is now a second SF90 in the Charlotte area, grey with black roof and a few yellow accents. The owner just got it, and also recently got the white Martini-liveried 918 Spyder Weissach. I believe someone else in the area is also getting an SF90 but not sure what the spec is....he currently has a red 488 Pista. Also, someone else just got a grey w/ white stripes new Ford GT. So definitely some cool new cars to keep a look out for once the weather improves.
I just saw the 918 in the wild today. It’s not every day that you see a car like this on Independence Blvd and in the rain no less. Image Unavailable, Please Login
A friend of mine has the same car in the same livery .... I can't imagine he's in North Carolina though. Cool spot! MDS
Uh oh! Diffuser-less F430 with its hazards flashing parked on the side of Griffith Rd in Charlotte yesterday afternoon about 3:30pm. Fortunately not far from a couple of the exotic car dealerships, so hopefully it's getting the help it needs! Image Unavailable, Please Login
Yellow 458 Spider flying down Bus 85 in the High Point area yesterday 2/4 about 2:40pm. Tried to keep pace for a while, but lost him in Lexington when I pulled into the Bar-BQ Center for some much-needed lunch. He headed straight into downtown, strange place to see a bright yellow Ferrari. Image Unavailable, Please Login
