I saw it in person. A big no for this price. In my opinion it was worth about 110-120, but even at this price I it would not be a car for me. Big amounts of filler, butchered bodywork I'd say when the car was resprayed in yellow (A common occurrence for aluminium body cars that were once cheap, and sent to cheap body shops). Paintjob well done but instead of making a bare metal respray they went over what was done before, hence 17-fold the values a first paint should give (1700 to 100 microns)

I bought 7 TR's this year, all except one below the 100 000 euro mark, and much better than the RM car.

The price sold on that car seemed so unrealistic. Thanks for the info

This is so very odd ... how about this explanation: flipping overpriced classic car as a money laundering alternative to crypto currencies .... ? Any clue who buyer and seller were??

Yes. It has been some time I have been running a boutique dealership plus have been sourcing Ferraris and classic Porsches for my clients. I gained a lot of experience on how bodyshops worked throughout the years (how to guess with a paint meter when paint/body was done, like late 90s for ex), how techniques evolved, for the TR, I gained a lot of technical knowledge about the K-jetronic and KE-jetronic systems. Great specialist met along the way.
I mostly sell TRs and 964 Porsches.

Seems Everyone is a car dealer nowadays.

Do not misunderstand me, I much prefer to deal with a passionate enthusiast than the usual amateur car salesman. I think its great this way so live the dream proudly!

This year I did c.a. 6000kms (4000 miles) behind the wheel of different Testarossas, each one had its own issues. Track > troubleshoot > workshop > test. Over and again.

Used car prices are up approx 40% year over year per Manheim, and TR prices are probably up less than that. Inflation is all around us…
