Ok guys.. who knows this car? What’s the deal.. huge price drop recently. Anyone?
I hear that a lot, but has not been my experience... I grew up here, have bought and sold close to 100 cars over the years, and if there is any little title issue has caused me great expenditure of energy to prove the title and get a Florida title. Case in point my 456GT.... because there was not a VIN "on the dash under the windshield", they had to go look at every VIN on the chassis they could find to confirm the VIN.....took FOREVER! I don't know how these malcontents "wash" a title in Florida as I have not ever even been able to get one through with the smallest of blemishes!
It happened to me by accident many years ago, I bought a rebuilt title Honda just for work and when I got my new registered title back it was clean. I knew people back then that primarily dealt with buying salvage titles and rebuilding to flip. However they did so with cheaper cars that were sub >$30k. But the kind of stuff I saw being done to get them repaired for the cheapest amount possible just to get it to drive was hair raising.
You don't even have to look at the copart photos to tell the driver fender was poorly repaired. Just look at the engine bay paint work that should be satin black but it's red. They didn't even bother masking it to match the other side. All that aside, the damage from the copart ad was relatively minor by the looks of it. It's a shame it was repaired so poorly.
LOL.. BID WITH 100% CONFIDENCE - WE DO OUR VERY BEST TO TAKE PICTURES AND DISCLOSE ALL NOTEWORTHY BLEMISHES THAT WE FIND ON OUR VEHICLES - NO NEED TO WORRY! YOU ARE DEALING WITH A GOOD COMPANY THAT WILL GO THE EXTRA MILE TO MAKE YOU HAPPY!
Also, that LF suspension does not appear to have been repaired properly. Look how far to the rear of the wheel opening the tire is. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Not excusing the car, but......pic is pretty distorted.....neither wheel appears where it should in a true side view.....size difference too......wouldn't put much faith in this pic
There are multiple photos of that side and the wheel looks funny in all of them while the other side looks fine. This is what makes me suspicious. Image Unavailable, Please Login
And now the listing is no longer available as the seller has indicated it is no longer available! I was going to drive down to Orlando tomorrow and look at it!
Hard to believe this car wasn’t repaired in a respected way with genuine parts. Even a wrecked car can find the right owner if it was fixed properly. Sidebar- I disagree wholeheartedly about FL and washing a title statement. Registering a car here is not easy.
Well "Southeast" Florida is a different country to the rest of Florida , perhaps they're talking about how things operate properly farther up North.
