I had scuffed some of the flocking off the door seal with my crocks moving the F430 out of the garage a few weeks back. I ordered this kit from Amazon. Was the cheapest way to get both the flocking material, glue and flocking material. Buying the stuff separately was about double the price. You can't see where the repair is at all. It's a perfect match even in different lighting situations.

The big trick for this stuff is to use a lower wattage heat lamp about 24" away on the repaired area for about 12 hours. Then use a soft paint brush to brush the excess off lightly after another 24 hours. If the repair area is where the window goes up and down you may want to have the lamp on the area for longer. My repair was on the bottom not near the window. I used a tripod stand with a baby chick heat lamp in a clamp light holder. The baby chick bulb is white not red and not as hot as the red bulbs you use in a bathroom IR lamp.

Oh and don't skimp on the flocking material or glue. Just make sure the glue is flat, even and smooth before you begin flocking the area.

I never thought I would see the word "Crocs" and F430 in the same sentence...

Neither did I until I got a DVT in my leg this past September. Still recovering with a swollen foot so anything other than Crocs on my feet ain't happening for a few more months.

Could you post pictures of the repair even though we will not be able to see the repair? Not seeing is believing.

Here is a picture. When I zoomed in to mark the picture you can see a small spot of glue I got on the rubber. I’ll clean that off with alcohol now that I know it is there. Didn’t catch it before even with my glasses.
