I'll add that it's not often we come across Miuras with the desirable combination of important provenance, sublime livery, and fully restored condition that 3249 has, mark your calendars as this one represents an unrepeatable opportunity!

Beautiful example with impressive provenance. Is it listed in the Miura Register?

A beautiful car. It was a good thing for the car world that a tractor manufacture was REJECTED when he asked Enzo for a Ferrari :)

He owned several Ferraris, the problem was that Enzo Ferrari was dismissive of him when he discussed maintaining them.

Wow, what a car. Similar from the house of Saudi sold above $3M last year. Restored with~3K on the meter. Well worth it for those with the coin.

It's just nice to be able to see such cars. What beauties of classical design. Like timeless works of art.

This particular work of art has it all: peerless provenance, great restoration, excellent condition, low miles, and classic original livery.

the earliest cars had much skinnier tires in rear..the stance is affected...
The later cars had wider tires and rear fenders..and it came into its "flawless from any angle "position in the design world..
Just magnificent, every one of them!

    Agreed.

That said the early cars are being appreciated more and more, our 1967 Lamborghini Miura P400 was the 104th Miura built, so it's an early production 0.9mm chassis ‘Lightweight’ Miura and when well-sorted they are very special to drive.

In recent times both prominent collectors Tom Price and Jon Shirley have specifically sought out a P400 and in both cases these cars have 250 GTOs as stablemates. So too the car's original legendary chassis engineer Giampaolo Dallara, when he finally decided to get a Miura and have it fully restored, he chose a P400.

Back in 1977 a neighbor of mine had his '67 P400 for sale for just $2,500. Nothing wrong with it he had bought something new to replace it.
I went over to seal the deal but he unfortunately had decided he wasn't quite ready to part with it.
