    So I was driving and noticed the little plastic trim on the aft base of my side mirror had disappeared. Anyone know of a place to buy replacements?

    Is it missing on both sides? If so it's probably normal. On my '89 328 both side mirror bases appear to be missing the smaller trim inserts, but I assume there never were any.

    There's the longer piece in front of the mirror post and the smaller "end cap" piece behind the mirror. Both my smaller end cap pieces were missing, and Verell at Unobtanium makes replacements. They are a little tricky to get on without breaking the tabs and require softening first in an oven. If you get them, please DM me and I'll share my procedure.
