Not bad. I don't think they hit 3 hours but seems they have the process down.
The Ferrari specialist that did my conversion did it in around 60 hours in total including separating the tranny from the engine in order to change the TOB. In those work hours was some issues with wiring instructions from EAG. So if they did another conversion i guess it might come down to 50 hours in total. The tech that did the job is a former WRC rally team tech with lots of experience and he works fast. The conversion is labor intensive especially for a workshop that has no history of this kind of work. I don´t know if my car has a clutch sensor and i haven´t had any issues related to this. The rev limiter works like it should. My tech didn´t mention it either so i´m not worried at all. Everything works like it should.
Dan also said they will no longer be offering kits, only conversions because of the difficulty with support of customer installs (I do think their new partner may have required dropping the customer self-installs as leaving money on the table). I'm guessing they will have authorized partners in Europe as it would be impractical to ship cars to Texas for conversions.
Doubt that there will be many people interested in Europe for the current prices of the conversion kits. F430/360 are cheaper in Europe and a finished conversion is almost half the price of the car. Many are interested but when they hear about the pricing...
