I need to use a lathe for about half a day to make a new intermediate pulley shaft for my own lathe. It's a small piece, about 8" long by 1" diameter with some smaller shoulders. Does anybody in the local area have a machine that I could use, or could you make the thing for me? Thanks very much.
I'm in south NJ, so probably too far. Could probably knock it out for you though. Do you have a drawing or a picture?
Thanks very much, guys. I found a local guy (where I live in Staten Island) who says he will do the lathe work for $100. So I'll see him after Christmas and give that a shot. The keyways I can cut myself with my own vertical mill.
