I’ve put on the of these in my 550 (each of my F-cars has one, actually): https://elementfire.com/

It’s lightweight, compact, and fits in the door pocket. I can’t speak to its effectiveness as an actual fire extinguisher (and I hope to keep it that way), but there are videos of it in use floating around and seems to do the job well.

+1. I have an Element extinguisher in each of my cars. And they are effective, according to a good friend of mine who used one to put out an engine bay fire in one of his cars a couple of years ago.

I also went with the Element - seems like a very good, discrete solution.

I have the factory bottle too. I looked into getting it serviced and no one was interested.

Just updated the fire extinguisher in 575, replacing my home made mounting bracket with one from H3r and new extinguisher. Poor photo but:

A bottle as old as yours can no longer be serviced and would have to be replaced.

Can I get some pics of under the seat, how you mounted it? I can’t seem to find a good way and I ordered all the same stuff.

Kinda difficult to get a good "all in one photo" but this shows mounting of the larger H3r mounting bracket. My previous self made bracket was an open "U" so it slipped under the seat bolts. The H3r bracket requires bold removal, however, as I discovered, the bolts and seat bracket are at an angle and it is impossible to replace the bolts. After some research on FC, the solution is the loosen the rear 2 seat bolts so that the seat rails can be rocked forward which allows a proper angle for the front bolts to re-seat.
