The Car Gurus ad says it’s a 6 speed manual. It’s not, from the picture of the interior.
58,000 miles with a salvaged title? I wouldn’t buy it, but if it’s been your dream car, and that is the top of your budget, maybe. I’d want to see it in person, look at the receipts and go to the garage that performed the service.

Also— if you get close to making an offer this car requires a full leakdown test of that well used engine!!!!

    I would scope each cylinder
Full interrogation of codes current and of ecu’s
Require a long 1 hour drive w seller from cold start to 1 hr later….

    do several pulls
    Check hot start
See if codes pop up in long drive

    check emissions readiness!

    eyes wide wide WIDE open.

IDK. The market is bozoville right now, nothing will surprise me. Maybe not $61.5K but I could see $55K if the car drives well, there was a recent service, good PPI findings and details on the salvage.

53k and have fun with it. Any one can drop 90k or more but these cars are getting 20 years old and will need some help from a lot of diy repairs. Rubbers and things get old. I see good things with that but those wheels are terrible.

Eyes wide open, buy a Launch X431 (or similar)….you are gonna need it. Know how to use a search engine here and YouTube and throw out a low number to see if they bite.

And make sure you see it first.

    I’d do it.

I Googled the VIN # and found some pics of the damage. Not sure if this was the only accident but it does not seem too badly damaged.
More info out there with the VIN search. For sale multiple times from low mileage to now. Good luck on your hunt!!

The exterior damage does not look all that bad (in the big picture) so I'd guess it had severe internal damage (that was hopefully properly repaired) to be the cause for the salvage title.

Sorry, they would grow on me like a fungus. I don't like them; I do like the blue exterior. The interior isn't to my taste either. Personally, the salvage title would keep me away even at that price. I agree, he will probably find a buyer in the $50's. Unless I was set on a blue car and I liked the interior I would keep shopping.

The one thing I can tell you is that it is ALL about condition, repairs add up fast.

Am I the only one amused by Pete specifying rear wheel drive in the thread title?

I think if those hideous wheels grew any more they’d start scraping on things.

Personally, after having the optimal blue exterior with black/tan interior, there is no amount of discount that I would settle for a not-perfect combination for.

What is the piece on the rear diffuser? I’ve never seen that on a 360 before.
