    As the title says.
    I'm looking for a Testarossa that isn't red or black.
    I posted in the WTB section of the classifieds and got little response.
    Hoping that posting in this section will get me somewhere.
    It doesn't need to be perfect, but I'm also not looking for a project car.
    I was bidding on the two white ones on BaT and C&B.
    But, both of those sellers have put me off with their aloofness.

    Regarding the white one on bat. That may be an opportunity for someone. Bids may not go that high due to the seller not being cooperative. You might call that shop and get a ppi done and find out it’s true condition before writing it off.
    the car is located in Corona CA at http://www.valimotorsports.com and open to PPI.
    You should always get one done even if the owner is cooperative. You should know as much as you can about the condition of the car in my opinion. Otherwise you could be spending unknown amounts of money on needed repairs. You may trust or not trust a seller but you still need to verify.

    Just made a deal for a white/white Monospechio that is local to me so I won't be pursuing the one on BaT.

    I think I may know of that car .
    if it’s the one I am thinking of it was for sale about a year ago but not sure whatever happened to it. I think it needed some work?

    Zeff, I totally agree a prepurchase inspection is a must on these cars. But of course would be almost impossible to deal with only seven hours left on the BAT auction.
    The vagueness of the BAT seller, along with the vagueness of the seller of the white Testarossa on ‘cars and bids’ yesterday is reprehensible.
    Totally unprofessional and I would avoid dealers and sellers like that at all cost

    I was pretty smitten with the White car on BAT, but the sellers aloofness was a deal breaker. If a guy can't even bother answering questions before the sale, what's he going to be like AFTER the sale. That car MAY have been a steal, it could be a disaster. With a 5K bat commission, at 140K, it's somewhat a gamble.
