This is the main difference between them.
Not in the same league when we are talking about charisma.

 

And Hamilton is Hamilton's biggest fan

 

It has never mattered who was the top driver in a mid-pack team in F1.

During her karting days Mama Verstappen said her idol was Senna... But Max himself can't say the same today.

I have to say, Sainz is one of the biggest surprises in F1: didn't do particularly well in karting, was beaten by Kyviat in GP3, but still was able to beat Leclerc, a well-know talent.

That being said, Sainz is not at the same level as Verstappen, no way.

 

I think Sainz has been impressive so far at Ferrari. I was not happy that they took him but overall he has done a very good job. Leclerc has struggled for sure ... I'm not sure why- other than the car is not that good... but clearly Sainz has outdriven him. I hope Leclerc does not get too down - and lets negative emotions get the best of him. I like him personally and I think he's been a very good driver so far... but It is difficult being the "leader" at Ferrari...
