Does anyone have photos of the 1998 Zurich Classic Auto Show? I am looking for photos of a 250 GT PF Cabriolet SII that participated

75 years Ferrari at Autoworld Brussels from 23 September- 4 December 2022.

Some interesting classic Ferraris expected to be on display.

75 anni di Ferrari | Autoworld

The poster for the exposition shows the 250 GT SWB (chassis 2445GT) with nbr 59 as used by Ecurie Francorchamps in 1962.
According to the expo info, this car had a racing accident in 1962 and was then sold to James Coburn and is now regularly used in Le Mans classic and at Goodwood Revival.

It is not clear of the same car will be on expo, but more details of cars displayed will follow in the next months.

I recently had a discussion with a nice Ferrari guy on Instagram who claimed that the first 250 GT/L prototype was originally painted pale yellow.
I told him that the yellow prototype was not 3849 but rather 4053 but he said I was wrong. « Well documented » he said...
Who can help ? Thanks in advance ! ;)

The background in your photo is the Turin motor show, so that car is the definitive model.
The car in Paris was painted in metallic color. But, the coachbuilders exhibited different cars in the same motor show, usually. So probably you and the guy saw different photos from different magazines.

If the 250 numbers are progressive, the first car should be the 3849GT and the second the 4053GT (the pale yellow car in my opinion).
In the middle there are the other cars produced. I don't know if the prototype had some differences in the details compared to the pre-series car.
I don't have any other article regarding the Paris motor show then the one attached.

4053 GT was giallo and completed 2 October 1962. It has engine #542/63, gearbox #81/61 and rear axle #1.
3849 GT was grigio argento but despite the earlier chassis number it was completed 25 October 1962 only, 23 days later than 4053 GT. 3849 GT has engine #492/62 E, gearbox #77/61 and ALSO rear axle #1.

3849 GT sold via dealer Fontanella in Torino to Count Zanon.
4053 GT was delivered new to FBA Franco Britannic Autos in Paris.

    Paperwork in my archive.

Hi Marcel, Did 3849 ever get restored in original colours? I have a note Uwe Meissner painted it Argento in 1994.

Fully agree, only shipping through a black hole could make 3849 the silver car on display in Paris. It was completed almost two weeks after the show closed.

We know now that 3849 was the pale yellow car at Turin Show but it seems 4053 was also there on another stand. Who has a pic ? Yes, that would mean that 4053 was at both Paris and Turin Show ! :)
    Thanks in advance !

Not entirely impossible, but I doubt that very much.

Ferrari stand that year had three cars: a GT/E, a California Spider and the yellow Lusso. Bertone showed 3269 on their stand.

If 4053 was on Pininfarina stand, I would expect it to have been the star and tons of photos existing of this sensational car. Instead every photo, including interior photos, were taken of that yellow car on Ferrari stand, even if it was placed awkwardly from photographer's point of view. Would be more than happy to be proved wrong though.

Possible source for confusion: 4297 was a silver Lusso displayed in Geneva 1963.

What about 3949 SA at the 1962 Turin show?
