    Trying to confirm the details....

Specifically to a 1999 RHD Modena

    Water Cooling :
Each fan is switched on at a different temp.

The side with the AC is at 92C
The other side is at 97.

The AC side should be the RH side (same side as driver in a RHD car) ?

    Engine Oil Cooler :
Is there a fan hidden under the rad ?

In all of the above, does any one have equivalent part numbers for up to date SPAL fans that fit well or due to the cowling are we forced to buy the ferrari parts ?

    thanks

    Correction:

The AC rad is on the LEFT side of RHD cars (just looked)

no , there's no fan under the oil radiator

if you are in hong kong, shipping from the United shut-door Kingdom isn't that much

Just the fans on the car are 15yrs old and probably the motors are no longer at their best.

In the case of the 456 there were SPALs available that were quieter, and needed less power.

I don't know which spal series suit there but you can try to upgrade 430 fans with shrouds which runs faster and draws same amperes. But deffo not a cheap solution in compare to replacing with spal fans. Another point is, in 360s you can change only electric motor of fan by removing plastic blades.
Last thing, 360s don't have oil cooler fan and because of the aerodynamics of mirrors there is not sufficient air flow at low speeds (another advantage of cs mirrors) so as a result in hot climates, after a short high rpm low speed session, engine oil temperature can hit 130-140 celcius easily.
I installed a 6 inch low profile spal fan with automatic thermostatic switch (starts at 125, shuts down at 105 celcius) .I attached photos.

You are so right on the OIL rad / Air Flow.

In HK it can be fairly hot with the trapped air between the buildings but my temps will stay just fine, until.......

I go into one of our many tunnels in slow traffic. Then immediately the oil temp starts rising and can be up by 15-20deg by the end of our longest tunnel.

As soon as i exit the tunnel, the temp starts dropping again.

    Which leads to another question

I was upon a time saw a company selling CF rabbit ears for the side air inlets.

They were extensions of what i estimated to be about 2" that extend up and out into the air flow more.

For the life of me i can not now find that company's web site.

    @hakankuy
Where did you mount the temp sensor for the Oil rad fan ?

Any way to test the 2 stage water fan temp switch other than pointing a heat gun at it.

Hi - does anyone know if I can remove the passenger side cooling fan without having to remove the radiator?
I only need to remove the AC lines - correct?
