Despite how bad Lewis is a cry baby, I swear his fans are even worse.

I remember it being a tough pill to swallow when Schumacher lost to Alonso in 2006 since they should have won that championship. Or Massa losing to Lewis in 2008. You clinch a fist and bite your teeth for a little while and then accept the lost, give some respect to the competitor and move on. Lewis fans, no way. They will torch the world until the end of time, throw out decency and sportsmanship and ignore any logical perspective of reality. But hey, I guess it must be tough for the "goat" to lose while having the best car once again.

Why do you keep bringing back stuff prior to this race?

Are you that short of argument that you cannot defend your case about Abu Dhabi ?

We are talking about the decider race here, not the rest of the season.

Try to keep up !!

Ok, ignore it all then. Except for Imola. Since that was practically the same situation where Lewis got given all his time back.

Toto Wolff also suggested he is unsure whether Lewis Hamilton will continue racing in Formula One as the seven-time champion is "disillusioned" with how he lost this year's title at the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix. Hamilton is more "disillusioned" that he's the G.O.A.T. Had it not been for the superior Mercedes, I highly doubt he would have had all those championship seasons. The real litmus test will be this year when Bottas, who gave him competition and stole pole positions, is now in a less competitive car. Lets see how many poles and wins Bottas pulls off this year.

No need to ask about Bottas.
An honest observer perfectly knows how mighty the Mercedes Team has been the last eight years..

  17. I don't remember this. When/where did he proclaim his GOATdom?

What will the Bottas moving "litmus test" (how is it scored?) prove? Interesting concept (I guess) but I don't get it...I can see Russell being the test, but Bottas at Alfa? How's that work?

Nothing works with irrational hate/view of LH career.
Bottas leaves and here is George. George taking on a mid/late 30's LH not 29 or 31 year old LH.

George in my opinion, if he has the speed- should be equal or a touch faster than LH. Physics and age. The rest of this posted hate opinions matter zero. 2 drivers in equal machinery. That is a good measurement.

Yup, 0.2 mm Toto. Playing victim when he’s the perpetrator. He keeps doing it because it works with the enablers and fits the narrative of the “oppressed (7-time winner, FFS) HAM” fans so they can yell “hate” as their only argument.

I also don't remember reading any mcimino posts, let alone determining any as hateful ones. I could be wrong of course, 'just don't remember. Anyway, I don't read this one as "hateful", just offering up a theory. I'm still curious what the "LH/Merc vs VB/Alfa" will prove? I've a feeling there is some rationale, but I can't figure out what it is. I'm assuming (what one should never do...) that Merc will still be up on Alfa, so what can possibly be gleaned from this?

The same toolbag that every year since 2014 has moaned that they want competition, and so far each time a team comes close, he gets that teams' toys taken away by the FIA. That guy.

@DF1 I’m not sure you copy/pasted this Autosport article about J. Villeneuve’s take:

    https://www.autosport.com/f1/news/villeneuve-hamilton-must-be-aggressive-to-reclaim-f1-world-title/7277276/

“It was slightly controversial, but it always is when it all comes down to the last race.”

Despite the outcry that followed Abu Dhabi, after which governing body the FIA has vowed to investigate in a detailed analysis of the restart following the last-race safety car, Villeneuve believes that the right man won the 2021 title.

“I guess it depends if you're a fan of Verstappen or a fan of Lewis when it comes to the reaction,” said
    Villeneuve.

“It was exciting and seeing how the whole season went, Max deserved this championship. He had been on top of it all year – race after race.”

I suppose to HAM fans, he’s just another hater.

He’s all over the place. He also said it should be a split title earlier. Alonso has become a bit of a provocateur. Actually, the writer of the article just chose to select that quote this time…or Maybe Liberty is pushing for more affirming articles and less critical.

Whatever the case, F1 is kind of screwed up right now. I don’t think it’s ever been this polarized (due in part to the advent of social media), but it’s definitely tiring. Neither Max nor Lewis has done anything wrong in all of this, but each is being castigated daily. And all of these pop-up F1 news sites are more than happy to compose articles capitalizing on the discontent of the mobs.

    Tragic…

    Agree on most but ..

By refusing to collect their prize at the FIA gala, Hamilton and Toto remain the main causes of this polarization.
This attitude only creates confusion and feeds the conspiracy theories of Lewis fans.
