I don't see anywhere that Scott's post was even close to P&R - because it is the truth.
To say the truth and be banned for doing so is akin to Twitter and Facebook....

Ray Lewis did a crime, and no matter what we think, he was found not guilty...
Michael Vick did a crime and did his time.
Rae Carruth did a crime and is doing his time.
Henry Ruggs WILL do his time.
But none of the above made a mockery of the NFL or their teams.

OJ Simpson....that's a whole 'nuther story, not guilty in criminal court, guilty in civil court.

This Brown idiot has made a mockery out of everybody and everything that is football,
now we know what Tomlin had to put up with.

 

Indeed and great example - I guess my only issue/difference between the Mike Vick's and Ray Lewis's of the world is that their "indiscretions" were personal but they still treated their teams/players/coaches/league/fans/sponsors etc. with respect. AB on the other hand apparently has no respect for the game/league that made him wealthy and the team/coaches that took him on when nobody wanted to deal with his drama. I am not particularly a Bucs fan nor a massive Tom Brady fan but I actually hope they make it deep in the playoffs and perhaps got to or win the Super Bowl just to reinforce how superfluous AB is/was.

Thanks for the support - I doubt there is any "ban" discussion - worst case the post could be deleted - The Moderators are quite logical/reasonable from my experience. That said, I could/should have just left the Vax card statement out - although I did qualify that "that is probably another discussion in P&R" and dropped it - the only reason I brought it up at all was the earlier discussions/posts about his suspension for the Vax card fake which to me is irrelevant. Aaron Rodgers had his "Vaccine vs Inoculation" issue and other athletes have faked Vax cards - taken their suspensions (breaking the rules is breaking the rules regardless of your/my "opinion" of the rule) and continued to do their jobs. The whole "I was injured" claim now is BS as earlier countered. If he was actually injured Arians would not have asked - much less forced - him to go in - no coach would.

As I said - Good Riddance - he is/was a disgrace to the league and the team IMHO.

As far as AZ goes, I REALLY didn't think their offense could offset Dallas' healthy defense, that really surprised me,
especially without Conner and D Hop, and I figured Ertz would have to stay in and block.
Elliott cannot run anymore, and Gallup is gone with an ACL now.
Dak almost looked like a rookie, can you imagine Burrow in Dallas?
Kellen Moore called a really bad offensive game plan.
AND McCarthy sucks, period.

 

I'd be surprised, mainly because right now they are missing a lot of pieces
on defense, and along with that losing Fournette killed them. They have totally capable receivers,
they don't have a capable RB (Jones is hurt too, now), or a defense that scares anyone.

 

Great point - I forgot about Fournette - agree on the defense - as we all know you have to be hitting on all cylinders to make it deep in the playoffs or possibly make it to/compete in the SB - NFC my money is on Green Bay - AFC I am still unsure - Cheers

CLE PIT

The pundits are just talking about Ruthlessburger and Baker

IMVHO the real story is the CLE poor coaching

CLE has one of the best running games and PIT has one of the worst running defenses

CLE ran well. Chubb broke one for 45 yards. Yet CLE kept passing even after Baker threw 10 incompletions in a row.,.a new all/time NFL record.

Stephanski may have been coach of the year last year. This game he sucked big time

 

If Dallas is IN they don't need to play certain guys, I think they would be dumb to do so.
They just lost Gallup on a VERY freak play, I can think of a few guys on Defense I'd be sitting...

It's been like that for a lot of games this season: I keep wondering why are they calling this game plan?
Dallas' offensive play calls against AZ was nuts, I've seen some really bad game plans put
out by the Chargers, Broncos, Tenn, Buffalo, even Cinci had me scatching my head at times,
but I guess you cannot call every game perfect.

Baker is done for the year, I think Keenum is better anyway, he did great the year
he started in Minnesota.

Just killed his career, that's all.
