    Hi all, reading through the various literature about the F430 that was kindly given to me, it says in 2007 as standard equipment, the car came with an integrated CTEK battery charging port?

    Mine is a 2007, but I can't recall seeing this anywhere, has anyone got one, and if so where is it please ?

    Hi yes that's what it says, here it is as worded:

    2007 Ferrari F430 – In 2007, Ferrari introduced even more options with the introduction of Alcantara interior, Bose stereo system, carbon fiber intake, and polished exhaust tips. What became standard was an integrated CTEK battery charging port.

    I don't think that quote is from a Ferrari document so I'd believe the parts book Terry posted in the link

    Mine definitely has a charging port (MY08 Europe). When the charger is connected, starting is not possible and a warning triangle is shown in the display panel.

    The port for the 2005 MY tender option sucks. Uses an old military connector under the brake fluid panel. Adding the CTEK pigtail behind the driver seat has been much easier. Highly unlikely to drive away with having to step over the wire and pick it up to open the door.

    I also recommend retiring the Ferrari CTEK to the "include w resale" bin and pickup the later version. Inexpensive and more refined. Ferrari CTEK burns out it would be expensive to replace.

    I just use the MXS 5.0 its been brilliant.
