Noticed the name change in FB & Instagram tonight. Web page is still algarferrari.com at least for the moment. Sent from my SM-G986U using FerrariChat.com mobile app
I liked Bob Segal. Nice guy in my book. The Russian kid seemed an odd approval by FNA but probably that came down from S.p.A. DiStanislao seems like a nice Italian name!
And the top floor at Algar was full of interesting customer cars in storage, waiting for Spring, or service, or both. D
If it makes everyone feel better the guys at Mclaren Philadelphia are fantastic and RDS owns them as well so I don’t see this being a bad thing.
I have bought two cars from McLaren of Philadelphia and the experience both times was exceptional. I also recently placed an order for a new Ferrari with Ferrari of Philadelphia and the experience could not have gone better... I think this transition will ultimately prove to be good one for local enthusiasts.
Hey Dominic! I originally ordered a Ferrari Roma, but while I was waiting, I test drove a Mclaren GT, fell in love, and picked her up last week instead. I know its probably not the right forum to admit this, but I am a really big McLaren fan. I still have a Ferrari 296 deposit in, but likely won't be seeing that car for at least 2 years I would guess.
Hey Joe! Long time...glad to hear your getting back in the saddle of a prancing horse, enjoy. Hope all is well! MB
Joe- We are both true car guys and even though I am a die hard Ferrari aficionado I will admit the McLaren GT is a great looking car You have always been an ambassador to the Ferrari brand and great seeing you back on the site
I thought that Velkselberg Jr. had also acquired Ferrari of Denver in ~2017 or so... Any info on wether they divested FOD as well?
yes, they had bought both dealerships around the same time. F of Denver was sold early last year before the philly store was sold to Bobby D.
