Probably because most don’t have clue of what it takes to put together a multi-day upscale event that includes track days. The time and money that must be committed in advance that could easily get crushed by the weather. Unlike a club event there isn’t a club treasury to cover the losses.

I used to joke around with John Barnes that we should have taken pictures of ourselves with hair before we started doing our events.

And he drove the wheels off of all of his cars. Pissed a lot of people but it was a sight to see his 250TR or Daytona Comp going sideways at Spa, Dijon, Nurburgring etc..

    You mean yellow, not green.
But some had a green nose band.

Has anyone heard of specific cars that will be in attendance at the Palm Beach Cavallino Classic next month? I heard there are multiple 250 GTO’s but don’t know which ones. I also heard there will be a Monza SP2.

I always debate whether or not i should try to find the list or just be surprised. One thing, i have been to around 8 classics so far, and was never disappointed. Last year was maybe the worst one due to covid but it was still amazing with 2 250 GTOs, F50, Monza, etc.

That’s good to hear. I went to my first (and only so far) in 2020 and was definitely not disappointed!

I'm just looking forward to being in PB. The cars buzzing around are a bonus. I've come to the conclusion that it's great to be in town during Cavallino, and not for Cavallino.

If all goes well three yellow Enzos will appear Saturday at The Breakers.
About 93 Ferraris entered for the show and approx. 118 in total.

    Curated Investments at 2022 Cavallino.

(Miami, FL.) To help commemorate the 75th anniversary of Ferrari, Miami-based vintage and supercar
dealer Curated Investments will be displaying four significant Ferraris in the 31st annual Cavallino Concours
d’Elegance taking place at The Breakers in Palm Beach January 22.

The Cavallino event will be taking on a fresh look in 2022 as new ownership in the form of Canossa Events SRL
debuts having taken over the brand from long time original owner and Cavallino Magazine publisher, John Barnes.
Canossa Events went straight to work shaking up the program in Palm Beach and adding two new venues to the
Cavallino brand including Modena, Italy (the region in northern Italy which is home to Ferrari) in July and the
United Arab Emirates (UAE) in September.

Curated Investments will be entering four important Ferraris in the Cavallino event including a 2003 Enzo in Giallo
    (#31241), 1993 512TR in Grigio Metallizzato (#96992) 1989 F40 in Rosso Corsa (#80022) and 1995 F355 Challenge
in original Fly Yellow/Italian flag livery (#104504) with each example being significant in their own right.

    1995 Ferrari F355 Challenge:

    • 1996 Ferrari Challenge North America Champion (Earle)
    • 1998 Ferrari Challenge North America Vice-Champion (Earle)
    • 1998 Ferrari Challenge North America Enduro Champion (Earle)
    • 2004-2011 SCCA & NASA Regional Championships & Lap Records (Lay)
    • 2011 Challenge Club Racing Runner-Up (Lay)

It would be pretty difficult to find a Ferrari Challenge car of any era with as many chops as this example (#4504).
Driven to three Ferrari Challenge Series championships by the accomplished gentleman driver Dr. Steve Earle
from 1996 to 1998, Dr. Earle virtually dominated the North American Ferrari Challenge Series with this car which
was originally in yellow livery and then later converted to silver with tricolor Italian flag livery.

The car was then acquired by Ferrari Chat founder and our great friend Rob Lay who competed in both SCCA and
NASA Regional Championships from 2004 to 2011 and in the former Challenge Club Series (a series comprised of
former Challenge cars across all eras, 348, 355, 360, 430, 458, etc.) where it finished second in the series standings
    in 2011.

Now showing 20,487 miles, the 355 Challenge was returned to it’s original yellow paint scheme and completely restored
by Curated Restorations and showing 20,487 miles in 2020-21. Given most Ferrari Challenge cars with this much racing
provenance are usually very second hand, crumpled, bondo-filled condition, the car is extraordinarily straight and looks
as though it could still compete in top levels today in the right hands.

    1989 Ferrari F40:

This car, 1988 Ferrari F40 (#80022) has extraordinary provenance, having been originally delivered to Nigel Mansell as a
gift from Ferrari SpA after signing with the Scuderia F-1 team in 1988. It shows 36,648KMs (22,772 miles) is fully documented
with Classiche Certification, books, records, tools and accessories with a very detailed inspection report available.

Aside from the obvious collectibility of an F40 of such caliber, #80022 is also an early plexiglass window car with racing
inspired sliding windows in the driver and passenger doors. Made to aide in aerodynamics and weight savings, 56 of
the first 1,315 (total) F40s featured the plexiglass windows to keep the cars as close to racing spec as possible.

    1993 Ferrari 512TR:

Perhaps one of Ferrari’s most famous production models was the Testarossa (literally translated “Red Head” for its
famously red colored valve head covers) an homage to the famous 1957 World Sportscar Championship winning 250
GT Testaroassas which solidified Ferrari as a premier sports car manufacturer.

The Pininfarina designed Testarossa was dramatic, long and wide, with a 4.9 liter flat 12 cylinder, mounted in the middle
and became the flagship of the Ferrari brand from 1984 until 1996 under different guises but staying true to its original
wedge shaped design which served as the basis for other models to follow, particularly its smaller V8 engined brother
    the 348.

The TR was produced from 1991 to 1994 with 2,261 examples rolling out of the Maranello factory. The TR was a slight
departure from the Testarossa receiving an extensively reworked engine featuring Nikasil liners, Bosch engine management
system, larger intake valves and revised exhaust system. All of these improvements resulted in a broader power curve,
better acceleration and of course, more high-end power.

The normal production of the 512TR started slowly in April 1991. For a long period the factory built the Testarossa and
the 512TR simultaneously and the 512 TRs were being stored. The first cars (mainly U.S. versions) went to clients in
December 1991. Total production was 2,261 cars, with serial numbers in the range of 89100 to 99743.

This 512TR (#96992) in Grigio Metallizzato is showing just 9,349 miles now in the hands of its second owner from new
and 1 of just 2,261 TR’s made total including just 408 which were originally differed to North America.

    2004 Ferrari Enzo:

One of just 37 Enzos produced in Giallo Modena (DS 4305 140) and Nero leather interior.

The amazing Enzo. The name alone evokes passion unlike any car in history. The Ferrari Enzo was perhaps the most
anticipated car Ferrari ever produced as it was launched to an eager audience and motoring media at the 2002 Paris Auto
Show. The Enzo was designed by Ken Okuyama for Pininfarina and was the fourth in the series of Ferrari supercars
produced every ten years following the 288 GTO, F40, F50 and named for the late legendary company founder Enzo Ferrari.

In 2004, the American automotive specialist magazine Sports Car International, named the Enzo Ferrari number three on
their list of Top Sports Cars of the 2000s. Motor Trend Classic named the Enzo as number four in their list of the ten
    "Greatest Ferraris of all time”.

“We are super excited to return to Cavallino again this year and showing such significant Ferraris on the lawn at The Breakers!”
states Curated co-founder John Temerian, Jr. “Cavaillino is one of the most important Ferrari events in the world and we look
forward to working with the new ownership from Canossa Events, presenting these great cars to such an appreciative
audience and seeing some old friends back in Palm Beach!”.
