Thanks Taz That explains what JKT was talking about.. She suggested I sell the car rather then bringing here in the US. I am not sure what to do now. I am quite happy with the conversion of my 2000 550 and I have it here in Florida. Oscar

Oscar- I think you are covered. Ferrari went to great lengths to make sure they did not have to meet that standard with the Superamerica. They did the same thing in 1996 when OBDII was mandated on 1 Jan 1996. There were no 1996 MY 456s, but 1997 MY 456s with OBDII started showing up in spring 1996. The F355 was the bread and butter Ferrari, so they introduced OBDII on time with Motronic 5.2 or they would have lost too much money.

Thanks Taz Now I have to decide if I want to bring it over here- after I get an estimate for the conversion. I have really enjoyed driving the Superamerica in Germany -the last frontier for drivers where you can concentrate on driving- not watching for speed traps. I have not been back since Coves-maybe this coming summer will be a possibility. Thanks again Oscar

Oscar- When you type your post, at the bottom is UPLOAD A FILE. Just click on that and browse to the photo you want and click OPEN. If too big a file, the system will tell you and you can save a lower res version to upload. Then click on Insert every image as a FULL IMAGE. After typing in your text, hit the enter button three times before uploading the photos and they will stay below the text. Bill's old Bertone 250 GT SWB 3269. Maybe the prettiest Ferrari ever. Has been several colors over its lifetime.
