296 - it's the new direction...sexy car with great shape and interior that's just awesome. Can't wait for mine.
Well F8 is last of a era and the 296 taking its place 296 is a fantastic car seams slightly smaller in comparison to a f8 I’ve a F8 spider attiler 812 GTS attiler ordered Sf90 spider attiler ordered Personally I would of bought the f8 over the 296 Image Unavailable, Please Login Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat

I never liked the styling of the F8. I think it looks weird compared to the other V8 cars in the past. I have seen some beautiful F8 specs but still not a fan. I'd pick 296, while I'm not a huge fan of the hybrid system and reliability etc. I like how it looks and I'm open to change with the new V6 engine. I also like the styling more. Small Pee Pee, Big Heart
We seem to be at that inflection point where we've approached peak 'aero' in the F8; the 296 represents a pivot to our more staid design language. I generally love more conservative designs, so I admit this surprises even me. I don't think the SF90 or 296 are 'ugly' by any means, but they both don't esthetically excite me as much as when the Testarossa and 348 *(yes, I'm one of those weirdos that think the 348 is beautiful) came out. I'm sure some will say it's a function of my generation (old fogey) - and they would be right. However, the last Big Brother/Small brother incarnation held the excitement too; the 458 and La Ferrari - both designs timeless, in my opinion. Call both instances "love at first sight." Not so with the latest siblings, perhaps calling them brothers instead of sisters portended the direction. The SF90 and 296 represent breathtaking performances, but I feel too much form sacrificed on the altar of function. I'm still digesting the SP3 design language.
IF the standard audio system is ordered for the 296, can a local audio store upgrade the speakers, etc. to provide a premium sound even better than the JBL? Same with the Apple Car Play --- is there a another alternative? Thanks
For the subwoofer and the speakers I’d say yes… CarPlay… id say u are stuck with Ferrari’s Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
After watching the journalist reviews and driving in Spain. The sound was probably the most surprising to me. I love the sound of the turbo V8 of the F8/Pista, but this new engine sounds great as well. Sounds similar to the V12s atleast from the interior sounds on video. With the 296 GTB on the move it reminds me more of the wedge shaped cars from the past. I have small pee pee, but a big heart
This is a no brainer, THE F8 , are you kidding me ? lol the 296 is fugly to say the least , and its a hybrid correct ? Rubbish , its that simple. Thank you
So it’s faster, sounds better, but it’s rubbish? U could say u prefer looks , v8 etc but objectively the 296 is a better car. The same way the 812 is better than my Testarossa, doesn’t mean I Love it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
What Im saying is that the F8 is the best looking mid mounted V8 since the 328 / 308 , and since it shares the same motor as the Pista, Its a no brainer, It does not matter how fast it is, most will never, ever push it . I despise hybrids, they are rubbish indeed. I could care less about HP in a Ferrari , what matters is the design , its that simple . The V6 F1 cars are the worst sounding in the history of F1. I have heard the 812 at full song on the 101 freeway in the opposite direction, with my windows closed, it sounds insane to put it mildly . The 296 is not a better car, its a hybrid, that makes it rubbish.I dont care how much HP the 812 has, it is one of the best looking front mounted V12s in Ferraris History. I will be so happy when I am able to own a 488, and by the way, its also a much better car than that V6 hybrid. Thank you
Seems like ur definition is very subjective. Why would u want to own a 488 ? The f8 has a pista engine you just said it. Makes little sense . Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I dont think a Pista or an F8 would be affordable to me, I do think I might be able to afford a 488, thats what I should have said in the last post. Thank you
I hope u will be able to get ur dream car asap! Ferrari financial/putnam/pfs probably can get u in a 260k 488 with 20k down for 2500 a month. Maybe that could be an option ! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I already have my dream car lol , 89 328 GTS, 23 years of ownership. Thank you, ( PS. I never wanted a car as bad as I did when it came to the 3x8 machines , and I will never feel the same way again no matter what kind of car, other than the F40 )
All these cars are gorgeous- personal taste and opinions differ but I don’t think any Joe off the street would say no to any of these cars. It’s like saying no to Gisele Bunchen because her nose is a tad big or Kate Upton is too heavy. Personally I love the look of all the 3x8 cars as I do 360,430,458 and it’s offspring. The 296 is different but is a modern rendition of cars from the late 50s early 60s. I like it and look forward to the full reviews of the car. Since it’s drivetrain is new and different I’ll wait for version 2.0 to make sure the bugs are out(electrical etc) Same goes for the 812 replacement if it emerges as a hybrid. By then a full electric Ferrari will probably be out as well-not my cup of tea-as yet. Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat
