    Hello,
Do you have any experience with H&R sway bars and springs on a 599 GTB?
What is about the quality of the H&R products?
I want to improve the handling and lower my car from 2007. Any experience?

Do I have to change the front and rear sway bars or the rear only?

The HGTE handling pack includes the wheels that I do not want. But it seems that it includes ecu tuning for the suspension too. It is certainly necessary if we change the spring, isn't it?

The novitec springs are very expensive. Is that justified?

    Thank you for your feedback,

    Nicofr

Let me know too. I too am thinking about the HGTE Kit. I am not sure about the other two. I did have H & R on my Bmw. It was jusk okay.. Not sure if I would install on a Ferrari.
After all the HGTE is a product from Ferrari. When you sell the car you may run into problems.. The HGTE is a safer bet all around.

    Just my thoughts...

Refreshing this...Has anyone put the H&R front and rear anti sways bars on their 599? Did it help flatten it out?

No update here...I guess that tells me what is needed--no one has done it, or it was a waste.

Why not just put the HGTE springs and rear anti-roll bar on her? Engineered to work well and lots of folks have experience with the set-up. Since it is OEM, it adds to the value of the 599 where some folks will not like the H&R parts being on her.

Can you be more specific about your issues with H&R products?

It's my understanding that the HGTE springs working with the magnetorheological shocks increases the likelihood of the shocks leaking.

Really?? It could be just a more aggressive style of driving that makes the shocks leak more but it seems that more HGTE cars seem to mention it. It's possible a mechanic mentioned it to me. If I'm wrong, I apologize! My shocks are still slightly leaking at 45K, but not enough to justify pulling them yet.

So are my rears, fronts were done by the dealer before selling me the car. I am thinking I will pull them and send to get them refurbished and see how that works. I can do the suspension, bumper respray, etc. while they are away.

I think driving regular is better for the shocks than standing weeks or months.
But they are not produced for the eternity.
Sooner or later they all starts to leak.

Is this with standard springs or with HGTE/ H&R springs?
