Grabbed stuff last night to make pork burgers. I may have been a bit heavy handed with the peppers. Between some dried little red ones I had left from this summer and a more than small dash of Sambal, these things are almost too hot. Funny thing is they aren't too hot for my tongue but once down the gullet they are pretty spicy!!

Used part ground pork and part chorizo so the flavor is good but whew...I ate one last night and having one for dinner now. I may actually end up throwing the rest out and I hate wasting food. Not much you can do to un-heat something too hot though.

I do not like mustard, but I like everything I have ever eaten at Roy's - mains, sides, desserts, cocktails.
Wife would freak but that tuna is cooked perfectly!

Add more unseasoned ground pork to "cut" the heat level?

I guess I could have broken 'em up and added more but they were already cooked. Next time I'll add heat more in a sauce than in the meat before cooking. :)

Costco trip today so chicken and Caesar salad.

Ahi night 2 (yup, we bought it at Costco, so…)

Marinated in a mixture of soy sauce, sesame oil, ginger, garlic, honey, cayenne, and salt and pepper. Then seared rare. Served with basmati jeera rice and sautéed spinach again.

Was pretty good. I’ve done my fish quota for the month (although tomorrow we have been invited to Friday Fish Fry at our neighbors).

Man, I can't keep up with you guys. I don't come to this thread in 2 days and I start back on page 1922!

I hate to think next Tuesday we'll be on the road for 3 weeks and I know I'll fall way behind.

Did sushi/sashimi and rolls take out last night. New to me restaurant. The place sent out a flyer in the mail with a take out menu. It also had a spend $50 and get 20% off deal. Checked their Google rating and it was 4.5 out of 5. It was good, but not as good as my favorite place.

Tonight I'm shopping for meals the next three days at home. My new air fryer should arrive today and tomorrow I want to try frying chicken. But the grocery store is close to Arby's and I'm craving curly fries. So tonight its Arby's.

I forget the brand, it didn't come today.

Skipped Arby's and ended up going with my dad to a deli. this place: Estrella's Deli (estrellasdeli.com) filled up on a roast beef Panini and poutine. Late lunch early dinner.
