Does anyone have a good source for a 308 GTB windshield? Does not have to be OEM, but of coarse correct fit is important. Thanks.
Thanks! Contacted Ira and he was very helpful! He said the glass would have to come out of Aus. from PGI. Anyone else? Thanks

https://www.eurospares.co.uk/parts/ferrari/308-gtb-1976/bodywork-lighting/glasses-39782 This link is for carb GTB which they have in stock. You need to check on the site for the car you are trying to fit.
I have had one still sitting in the crate in my garage for a while. A friend needed a Mondial windshield, and since this could come in the same crate it cost just the bare cost of the windshield. I believe the shipping charge was $500 for the crate with both windshields. My car is a very very early car. I hope to get around to installing it in the next couple months along with a repaint.
I believed I was the one who told Glass Seeker about PGI glass from Australia since the windshield Glass Seekers sent me is one of many that didn’t fit, here’s what happened to me:
I haven't closely examined a GTS vs. GTB a-pillar, but it wouldn't surprise me at all if they are different. The GTB a-pillar is part of the roof structure and ties the front and back of the car. The GTS a-pillar has to be able to (theoretically) support the weight of a rolled car all on its own with no help from the roof and b-pillar. I wouldn't be surprised at all if it was different at the base and in cross section. This is just rumination, I don't have a GTB handy to examine. I'll bet that Rutlands and Ferrparts and whoever else regular takes Sawzalls to 308s would know for sure.
Well, I thinking of the wrecking yards, but yes, I would also guess VonBarron could make any windshield fit a 308 if we really wanted to.
It’s easy enough to find windshield for our cars as several places do carry them if not they can order one but the big question is, will they fit, if not there’s a way to make it fit but I only know one windshield shop that can do it but they won’t take responsibility for it if the windshield breaks.
Curious: I watch a lot of custom car shows on tv, sometimes they are chopping tops or making other mods to a pillars. How do all those cars end up with windshields that fit?
Fast Cars can do it. Remember how they fitted mine? Sand bags and direct sunshine/heat "bent" the glass into submission. Amazing. If I recall, Glass Seekers sent me a GTB windscreen but Fast Cars made it work. I had my doubts but Craig was right. They do it all the time with vintage Ferraris.
