I know several people over the years have installed a full front/rear Brembo GT kit (355mm front, 332 piston rear), with several on this site. I would love to hear firsthand experience with how braking system felt after the upgrade. In particular I am curious about the initial bite, overall pedal travel/length, overall front/rear bias, and control ability. The last thing I want to do is make the pedal travel much longer with an overall much more wooden m/stiff feel. Did you also repaint them with Ferrari script instead of Brembo?
Dont know about a TR, but I love them on my Testarossa. The inital bite takes some getting used to. Pedal travel/length is shorter than the stock setup on mine. F/R bias is good, and front end control has never been an issue for me. Never had the wooden or stiff feel on my car. Image Unavailable, Please Login

Brembo pads. No Ferrari script. It takes very little pressure to get them to bite. Hit these like the stock ones and you'll go thru the windshield.
Rims have to be 18" Brembo has a cardboard template you can test fit to see if they will fit on any given rim.
2 questions? 1. do you have to upgrade the Master Cylinder to go with the brembo's? 2. Can or would you only do the front brakes? I almost went with the Brembos be cause front rotors for the 512 tr are almost unobtanium. Had price quotes of $1200-1300 each. Finally found a race shop to make them for me. so stayed stock!
If you do just the fronts you will heavily bias the car to the front. Honestly that’s fine for most circumstances on a gently driven streetcar. That said, under extreme / aggressive braking (think at the edge of lockup), your braking distances will suffer slightly. Brembo told me that the current version of the kit does not require changing the master cylinder. However, if we hear feedback to the peddle travel is now much worse / longer, then we would need to upgrade the master cylinder.
I'm a person that has always modified my Fcars to make them better. Does it hurt the value? Are you going to drive it or are you just going to look at it? I drive my cars, the worst sin you can do as a Ferrari owner. I modify the car to make it work better period.
I would argue that as far as modifications go, this one should not theoretically detract from value. The Brembo kit is period correct, using the caliper design for the F50. It’s essentially like using a modified F50/F40 brake setup. it’s not like you are adopting a set of carbon brakes or something
