Here we go with horse **** calls for Brady.
Yes, but nobody KNEW Brady would end up like he is, so you cannot really argue that. Just like when Brady got knocked out for a season and Matt Cassel stepped in, did well, then disappeared... Just like the 'announcers' that were continuously saying 'The Browns could have taken Mahomes', 'The Bears could have taken Mahomes', 'The Jets could have taken Mahomes', The Bengals could have taken Mahomes', point being I LOVE these guys that say who could (or should) have done whatever AFTER THE FACT. Mahomes probably would have been wasted anywhere besides KC/Andy Reid and he would have just been another Baker Mayfield - adequate at best. Glad I did not switch to Philly today...
New England and now Philadelphia getting stomped like it's a pre-season game with rookies. Sheesh . . . . The Cincy/LV game was at least competitive.
That was the worst final minute I have ever seen by an officiating crew. They added 4 seconds to the game clock, and took 4 seconds SF play clock, then added 2 seconds to the game clock....gave Dallas every chance to win, and them they wanna complain about the referee getting in the way at the end? That was justice because there should have been no time left at that point.
WHAT THE EFFFFFFF COWBOYS COACHES were you thinking????? That was the stupidest play calling of all time.
Steelers fan. Not looking good. But even though Ben has looked "off" this season and tonight, it has been a pleasure watching him for so many years. Sad to witness his last game but HAPPY for him and his family. "Throws a TD to Washington" His last? Hey PureEuroM3 you been traveling?
Well boys, last post of the season. TB had superior coaching on both sides of the ball, superior QB by a mile and their defense was terrific. First scores are important, and I don't think my team would have won under any circumstance BUT first series, Brady facing 3rd and 10 in his own territory but for total joke roughing call gets 15 yards and a first down in Eagles territory. They take it in and never look back. Message to defenders rushing Brady - do not breathe on him. 49ers and Cowboys QBs were totally underwhelming. And now Steelers can try to get a fresh start on offense. Thanks for the entertainment and, as The Happenings sang: "See You in September."
Tom, even more disgraceful was Dak, with him giving the fans credit for this. I always thought he was classy, but this made me lose respect for him. <iframe width="640" height="360" src="http://www.espn.com/core/video/iframe?id=33082823&endcard=false" allowfullscreen frameborder="0"></iframe>
Your post makes ZERO sense. We aren't debating on who has a crystal ball, I am making a point that Belichick gets too much of the credit when Brady deserves ALL of the credit.
You seldom understand much of anything of what I say, so I will just leave it at that, as opposed to trying to explain it in detail, over and over and over. The point I am trying to make is quite different than the one you are arguing. PS - well, OK, I will try one more time: AT THE TIME Brady was put in the game back in 2001, NOBODY KNEW he would be as great as he is, and then I tried to compare the SAME thing to when Mahomes was put it. Over the last few years other QB's have been drafted higher than Brady - and quite frankly most of them have sucked, so NOBODY KNOWS who will be great at the time they are put into games for the first time. AFTER a player is put in and shows greatness - THAT is what makes me laugh at all the announcers who THEN say things like 'The Jets could have had Mahomes'... Sure - maybe the Jets could have had Ryan Leaf, too.
Vegas bookies loved the 49's over the Cowboys. They made a ton of money in what was a losing weekend.
