Its kinda interesting that this was reported on Ferrari Chat first, then pick up around the world. I don't remember that happening before.
Yeah, I think Enzo's are becoming indestructible like McLaren F1's. They are so valuable that it makes sense to repair them no matter what the damage is.
I could easily be mistaken but I think the infamous "Split Enzo" was initially reported by a Cali-based F-Chatter who waited through the traffic and then saw the Enzo in half and scattered all over the road - before it was picked up by the press and obviously covered with the great documentary on Auto-Biography. Again - could be wrong - Suffice to say the first I heard about it was on FChat. As posted - Ferrari rebuilt that one and I am sure will rebuild this one - Still sad Cheers
This car will be back on the road. Back in 2006 in Malibu, California the Ezno below was rebuilt by factory, I believe, and came back to be black: https://www.motorbiscuit.com/ultra-rare-3-million-ferrari-enzo-gets-crashed-split-in-half-and-abandoned/ To make a long story short, it turns out that Bo Stefan Eriksson was a Swedish businessman named Stefan Eriksson. Additionally, Eriksson allegedly illegally smuggled the Ferrari Enzo out of Scottland to avoid repossession. As a result, the hypercar was living in LA illegally. It also won’t surprise you to learn at this point that the FBI determined that Eriksson was driving the car. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Awesome! I believe they added some unique accents/items as part of the rebuild as well - If anyone is interested this is an amazing story on Autobiography - Apologies if this is a repost: https://www.imdb.com/title/tt9848286/?ref_=ext_shr_em
No happy ending here. Feel sorry for the driver, owner, and the car. Not going to work out well for any of them.
Now the THIRD thread about this already............. Come on guys.......... Read before you post. Have a look here (plus also in the regular Enzo thread in the supercar section!! plus in the Dutch section as well): https://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/threads/one-less-enzo.654041/ Marcel Massini
Some enzo was written off, some burns others split in two and many mote parts. 2 exemples, the black enzo who burned in French Riviera. The first enzo crash in oct 2005, owner 41 yo dies at 150 m/h.
Apparently, Gas Monkey Garage/Rawlings has put out on social media that he's interested in buying this out to restore. Hopefully, the owner actually cares about recovering the value & sending it to the factory instead.
Whatever it is I suspect it involves black paint, LEDs, and a shill or two when it sells at auction post production.
