This is the one you want Adrian....the Ferrari Slayer! Unfortunately the sound quality is rubbish on all the vids of this car.
Nup and here's the bloke that bought it a year or so after that vid: https://www.motor1.com/news/50259/volvo-amazon-owner-claims-he-has-the-fastest-car-in-britain/#:~:text=By%3A%20Septerra-,TV%20host%20and%20racing%20driver%20Guy%20Martin%20has%20claimed%20his,fastest%20car%20in%20the%20UK.&text=He%20only%20has%20two%20cars,uses%20as%20an%20everyday%20ride.
I’m not sure why I find this enticing, it an early TVR Grantura, great photos probably help https://www.carandclassic.com/car/C1355010 Image Unavailable, Please Login
A lot more interesting than a friggin’ Volvo! Photos, and the interior, look great. Silly signature here to annoy KIAI
Finally saw a genuine Griffith on the Tassy carby run I did 10ish years ago in a private collection. Always wanted one now unobtainium.
DAF 44 https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/DAF_44 Don't think any made it to Oz. The thread title is "Odd cars". Well the DAF was certainly odd. 850cc 2 cylinder engine, belt drive, continuous variable transmission, 6V electrical system, fibreglass body. Some people said they were ahead of their time, others said they were an abomination. Those in the first category were greatly outnumbered by those in the second category However, strangely I have always had a bit of a soft spot for them. That doesn't mean I want to own one though
