Only an Idiot would bash a State where his car is made. Tesla is DONE IN CALIFORNIA. And only an Idiot would buy one. He pretty much burned California as a market. The Tesla name will never sell well in California again. Doesn't matter where they are built. His only option is to dismantle Tesla and sell the assets. The Tesla stock isn't worth a half squirt of p*ss now. Tesla is on it's way out. Who is going to be the next leader in the industry? I wouldn't buy a Tesla, say 2 years before you won't be able to get parts or have your car serviced? He never had a great product. Probably knew Tesla was going bust before he ripped California? Never had a good product, business model or Industry plan. The electric car is really in need of all of these. Really the Electric car shouldn't be termed CAR at all but Transport Vehicle. He gave it a shot. Good Luck Musk
>Tesla is on it's way out Haven't they said this basically since the day the company was created, the amount of hate Tesla gets daily must be ginormous. Tesla went through and continues to have a lot of qc issues, but they definitely made some great products and improvements along the way. Bring on the cybertruck.
HE BURNED CALIFORNIA!!! Only option is to pull the chain. Most likely California subsidies have been keeping Tesla afloat it's whole existence anyways. No secondary market. Not a green vehicle It goes from New to garbage. Probably a regular car has a lesser environmental footprint than a Tesla. I'd pull the chain. I still think a smartly designed "EV" is possible, though.
What do you think those California "car factories" are going to go for? "Cali basically told him to leave." Smart move, if they did. I don't think I could buy a car from anybody that flashes a double Fonzi I Think The Future Is Super Trooper
Volvo did a study on their XC40/C40 electric cars and found the breakeven point for an electric vehicle versus its ICE counterpart. Depending on how the electric was harvested, it was anywhere from 30.5k miles to 68k miles. source: https://www.volvocars.com/images/v/-/media/Market-Assets/INTL/Applications/DotCom/PDF/C40/Volvo-C40-Recharge-LCA-report.pdf
Don't see that happening. Whatever, definitely, not without a cradle charging system I got to go, not going to sit here and beat up on Musk anymore, he obviously has problems. Never ever been a big fan of Electric Only Vehicles ever, especially Tesla designs. Just not dependable/versatile enough for me. Except for The Super Trooper, of course Good Luck
MaxTension created another thread about Tesla/Musk after being thread banned here. New thread merged in. 2-day site ban added.
That will work. 5:15 All electric is at 6:05. Not bad considering where what, at 2nd inning tops? lap times...what do they matter though right? Cars just have to just look good?
I've witnessed the cult of Musk, the other side of the coin is often forgotten though. It's interesting to get a reminder once in a while.
Raw speed isn’t everything. I’m a Tesla owner but I just bought a Ferrari over a Plaid S. I could write a few pages complaining about how Tesla treats their customers. Great cars but awful company.
Performance will always be at the heart of Ferrari. It is in their DNA. But the conversation of comparing a single metric, like 0-60 is like saying a blonde has more blonde hair than the other even though one blonde is a supermodel in everyday and the other is a nice next door neighbor lady with four kids.. Different in every way. Because a car is too many things and it is the balance of ALL those things that Ferrari seems to accomplish in a way few can come close to. From a strict performance category, Ive driven the F8 Tributo and am not worried that Ferrari will ever lose its leadership in performance. A Tesla is really fast owing to traction control, and and mostly the instant torque advantage of the BEV vs. ICE. But a Tesla is a soul-less art-less appliance made by technicians and IT people rather than artisans and craftsman. Never will a Tesla be nicknamed Bridget Bardot. Some blondes are better than others.
