Anyone have any advice on what components will need replacing or modifying on a US import Mondial, or any other Ferrari for that matter, in order to comply with UK road regs., etc.

I imported a Corvette Stingray a few years ago, and it was lighting, headlights to rhd and indicators to amber, I think that was all. I assume you are aware of the duty and vat that will be payable?

Indicator are already amber thankfully. I guess it will just need the headlights replacing/adjusting and a fog light fitting. Thanks.

EU built so duty fixed @ £50
Over 30 years, so "historic interest", VAT 5%
Assuming you use a knowledgeable broker!!

Thanks Martin. Yep, got a decent company doing the import so the duty/VAT seems to be in hand.

The build plate shows it was manufactured in December 1981 which means it is a shade over the 40 year window so no tax or MOT requirements either.

Just need to work out how expensive the headlight conversion is going to be.
