NFL 2021

It will be a great game. Two NFC West teams slugging it out for the right to go to the Superbowl. SF won both meetings this year, and 6 straight. The week 17 game was a thriller, the NFC West title was on the line for the Rams and the playoffs were on the line for the 49ers.

 

Tell that to Greenbay fans.

 

Yep. I saw 'em 4 times by the time '70s were over.

THE rivalry was Bay vs. L.A., in any guise.

In our hood games - We 3 were Rams, Perennial Losers were 49ers.

Who cares? The only rivalry that counts is money and power. San Francisco wins going away.

 

Looking fwd to NFC defenses which are dominant, and should push the AFC around.

Brady isn’t a bad guy it appears, esp when you see him on Eli and Peyton’s show. Likeable. His time in Beantown with the cheating is an asterisk sadly.

Buffalo and KC is delivering the heat on a Sunday. This game is freaking ludacris.

Well dammit KC pulled it off. Was rooting for Buffalo to keep shaking things up. I think KC has the inside track now win the SB.

 

Last week only 1 road team won.

This week only 1 home team won.

 

For sure their defensive coaches. They had no idea what to do. I think panic set in.

They let KC get a FG with only 13 seconds left in the game. That's just pitiful.

To me KC will feast on the Bengals. LA might be a bit stronger than SF but that game is a toss up.

 

Agree. They should have kicked it short and made KC play it. That would have taken a few seconds off and left only 1 play to get into FG range. But despite that, there is NO excuse for allowing a FG with 13 seconds to go and you have them on their own 25 yard line. And Buffalo supposedly had one of the top defenses... definitely not that series.

Question for TomC:

A week ago Dallas got nailed on the last play of the game because 'the Umpire MUST set the ball'.

Did you notice what happened after Cooper Kupp's 44 yard catch, the last play of the TB game before the winning FG?
