Heck, there is a GTE on BaT right now that probably won't bring that much money! Granted it isn't running at the moment, but from the looks of it should be pretty easy to get going.

When moving the wind shield forward to make more room for a proper passenger compartment, Pininfarina also moved headlights forward by 50mm or so, as the front fender line was getting way too short. Bonnet with a relatively steep slope was created to increase downforce so the car would be stabile in high speed. So closed headlights and an added hood scoop both ruin the original design principles of a GT/E.

I imagine the example above will be heading to GTO as a donor if the bidding does not climb a lot more.

Let’s trust it didn’t. Maybe BAT was not the place to sell such a lovely old Ferrari back in 2020. Maybe it still isn’t?

GTE prices have done well lately so I hope that helps keep them whole.
I drove mine in the winter sunshine today, such fun.

4843 GT, Cavalino preservation class winner, appears to be the antithesis of that dogs breakfast that started this thread

That's crazy, particularly considering the one that didn't sell last year was only bid up to ~200k and was running with a body that was in better shape.

Personally, I think the earlier one was crazy and this one was about right.
